As you can see in the video the fire department is trying to put the fire out. When we drove up this is what I saw.

Linda (Goodson) & Don Shaffer. Aiken, SC. We first met both Mary Ann & Dick through our beloved Debbie & Mark Wenger... & later through events surrounding Ruthanne, Daniel, Abigail, & Joanna. I first learned of Mary Ann through Debbie when Debbie was a young student of mine at Columbia Bible College (CIU). Mary Ann & Dick were faraway in Zimbabwe. Mary Ann was suffering with a sore on her leg, a sore refusing to heal. Debbie asked for prayer for her dear mother. Prayers were prayed in class & elsewhere. One of my favorite memories include a precious time when Mary Ann & Dick briefly stayed with us to help transport Ruthanne to doctor appointments in Aiken. Ruthanne was staying with us temporarily. Her health required daily chiropractic adjustments, a specific kind difficult to obtain. Previously, our Aiken doctor Dr. Sara Windham, had traveled with me from Aiken to Lexington to examine Ruthanne. She was the 1st to recognize the true issue that Ruthanne was facing & identified a hopeful path of treatment. Through Dr. Sara's expertise, Debbie's & Mark's & their 4 children's adaptivity & perseverance, Ruthanne's patience & eagerness to get well, the continued help of a team of caring folks, and our Father's leading & His touch, Ruthanne's excellent health was eventually restored. Grace upon grace! During Mary Ann's & Dick's stay at our Aiken home, Don & I experienced first-hand their continued good cheer, such genuiness in every word they spoke, & their absolute love of Jesus Christ. Don & I watched them live in day-to-day reality, & it built within us an absolute love for & the highest regard of these two servants of God. We enjoyed great conversations while we all sat around the supper table each evening... relaxed & having fun "outback."
