You mean to get it transparent so I can color? Same method I always do. Make a new layer. Fill it with print black. Make a mask, paste the line art into the mask and then invert the mask so its a negative. With Danny's stuff (and most ink washed art) I had to kind of eyeball correcting it. This method will make it darker, so after its in, I try to mess with the levels to get it to look as close as possible to the regular stand alone line art.

I'm pretty sure they are the most generous when it comes to comps.

I'm old, I saw Ninja Scroll when it came out! A modern Classic! Others include Akira, Fist of the North Star, Anything myazaki, Ghost in the Shell, Bio Booster Armor Guyver, Metropolis, Yu Yu Hakisho, the Girl Who Lept Through Time, Death Note, A Chinese Ghost Story, Vampire Hunter D, Macross, DB, DBZ...., Space Battleshio Yamato, Mazinga Z, Evangelion and many many more. Redline was a favorite bc it was for someone of my generation Cannon Ball Run meets Smoky and the Bandit with Guns ...but for this new generation! Once they said Transam? I was in! They need a sequel to this fuel injected adventure with new characters and some of the old. Make the physics a little more realistic to create more drama but other wise cheffs kiss! RedLine is one of my must have Anime IMHO!

Respect to Redine, Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell, Princess Mononoke, and Akira. are top tier all day long. Your sequel pitch is spot on but...theres only a handful of really good projects that pulled it off. Part of that was ANIMATORS and their own nuanced approach that couldn't be copied very well. BUT with computers it can be finely detailed to mimiv the styles...so maybe @@TheEnzyme94

ha. Super black is a mixture of Cyan- 60% Magenta - 60% Yellow - 40% and Black (or K) at %100. It is what the black line art should be set at. It keeps the black lines looking very black and doesn't let other, lighter colors underneath the black turn it grayer in places.

@@Nickfil Hey, follow up question, hope it's not too technical. When I try to fill the line work (or knock out the line work, or anything), with 60 60 40 100, it always colour picks as 67 57 56 100. Is that normal? It does that when I try different rich black combinations as well, and when I colour pick blacks from random images.

@@Nickfil Never mind, it's because I'm working in RGB with a CMYK preview on. While in full CMYK it lets me do whatever I want. Guess, I'll have to find a work around if I want to keep working in RGB. I'm working on the Batman pages from the ultimate portfolio and the line work is perfectly aliased, so merging, converting then selecting the black and super blacking it is pretty easy (I've knocked out some line work but haven't had to do any glowing effects or anything yet). But on other line work this wouldn't be as easy, especially not if I'm doing glowing effects and stuff like that (I imagine glows would print weird if only the 100% black areas have been super blacked?). Have any idea how the RGB folk super black? I know I'm probably asking the wrong person. Lol. Feel no pressure to answer.

The Gamecube. I'm using a Eon Mk II to put it in HDMI. It is a little adapter you can get that pops right in the back. There is also one called a carby that is just as good.
