Hi Steve, in the video description it currently says that the Jones BBQ Sauce website was built with Shopify even though you mention in the video that it's Squarespace. You might wanna update the description. Great video though, I learned a couple of new things from it!

Quick feedback: Usually I love your videos but I found this one a little bit boring, maybe it's because I am a designer and I think I already know most of the things you are pointing out.

Yesterday I was lecturing at the university about UX design and bad and good practices in experience design. I wish I could have recommended your video then :) Great job and I agree with you. (I'm from Poland and I send my regards to everyone, especially from SGH)

Thank you for taking the time to try all of these out! I've used Flodesk for a couple of years and found their platform to be easy to use and well-organized. However, I didn’t need all the features included in their packages. Also, if you used one of their templates, you didn’t have access to all the fonts available in other templates-which was a bit odd. I run a smaller company and am a graphic designer, so I don’t need advanced design tools. What I do need is a low-cost marketing system that really works. I’m leaning towards Brevo because it’s more affordable, though the number of add-ons feels a little questionable. That said, I can see why you went with MailerLite.

Omg thankyou, I'm trying to decide. Looking forward to this video

Whilst I agree with your conclusions, one thing that is never mentioned in these reviews, is that MailerLite is very restrictive regarding who they will allow to use their service. There are a lot of prohibited industries, some of which are utterly ludicrous in their breadth. For example, if you operate in anything resembling financial services, you cannot use MailerLite. It's crazy on the part of MailerLite, but this is their stance.

Thank you for this great video. Today (Dec 16, 2024) Wix sent an email stating that they made changes to their pricing; and now for the exact same features the cost is going to double! Time to find a new platform.

Excellent video, just one question... why would you fill in a star meter from right to left?!
@stevebuildswebsites4 күн бұрын
Haha I dunno. Is that so bad?
@sethbleecker90034 күн бұрын
@stevebuildswebsites it's just very unusual! Don't know that I've ever seen a meter fill from right to left, except maybe in cultures with different reading directions.

This site is passively earning you $649/month entirely from OPP (other people’s products). Meanwhile, I’m sure I’ll labor greatly on my coming author website and earn nothing in Patreon subscriptions and book sales. *Sigh* Gonna do it anyway.
