It’s more than a bit confusing and contradictory for a god to say “I’ve been there” instead of doing something he/she/it was allegedly going to do at a future point… It’s also rather sadistic and even petty to play with folks like they’re toys. And then the question must be answered… If a god is capable of this ‘miracle’ and should be praised for it, are we to assign blame for his/her/its inaction they ignore the multiplied thousands of others who also beg, plead, and believe for the same or similar? This god, like all gods, seems quite fickle and fallacious at best. Sorry, just can’t subscribe to the idea of an obviously fictional character doing anything, requiring credit for it, but unwilling or unable to accept the blame for the magnitude of human suffering every single day.

Those who have never experienced it, have no idea what unrelenting, unimaginable paid does to your spiritual life. The real miracle is you never lost faith. I wish when I went through, I could share that testimony as well. I got angry, frustrated and just gave up. But thank God, He is bigger than my little tantrums. You are a miracle and your testimony inspiring. Just to keep faith, not hurt anyone else or yourself would be miracle enough! Never lose that faith beautiful boy! Ruth

So God inflicted two horrific painful conditions on a child and made him suffer to "give him character and hope". According to his father, (a pastor), torturing innocent children is for their own good and is a sign of love. This just goes to show how much religion poisons peoples' minds. Worse, the implication is that anyone who is suffering is only in that position because they don't believe enough i.e. it's their own fault. Seriously, you need to think about what you say because from the outside, it seems pretty evil to me.

glad you have that belief. With 8 billion people on this planet why would god heal Tyler? at any given min there are probably 1 billion praying. all wanting something. I ? this

Don't forget humanity was around for a few 100 thousand years before Judaism or Christianity and they just had to suffer while god was having a nap apparently. I can't imagine how many trillions of innocent animals die even now from agonising injuries, being eaten alive or exposure under his tenure too. But it's all for their own good apparently.

Total BS. If you honestly believe a god would choose to heal some pampered suburban kid over starving kids all over the world, then you seriously believe in one f’d up deity. Let’s see this dude Michael, who supposedly healed this kid through prayer, travel to kids who are starving, suffering from horrible cancers, etc. pray for them and let’s see how many end up healed. Special place in hell for these charlatans.

@@checkoutnow_8437Yeah, sorry, I guess I just don’t understand why any god would choose to save one spoiled kid over countless poor children who die of starvation, disease, abuse, etc. every single day. Maybe you could explain that to me, oh wise one?
@checkoutnow_8437
@checkoutnow_8437 8 ай бұрын
Boy do you live in a small world! And yes, you're right - you don't understand; that doesn't somehow make you special and doesn't make you right either. If you were magically to become God, would your solution be to swoop in and fix every problem or mishap for every individual continuously? No, you wouldn't, because it would be futile and also ultimately meaningless. Almost all the problems we suffer on Earth are caused by our own fault - not by God. We are given free will (so we aren't robots and we aren't just animals) so God gives us responsibility to take charge of our own decisions. But God can intervene in our lives in some way if we genuinely ask him to be part of it. Many people don't want to do that so that's their problem. Blame God for your problems, as you seem to be doing - but that will never help you one bit.

@@jonpoulda3362yes please explain it to all of us. How our Creator can let this happen. Especially in countries where they have a deep belief in a creator don't know enough to use condoms so they don't keep spawning more starving children. Besides we trying to help these children parents should take a responsibility and use condoms. This is more than the world can resolve yes you can be sure like little by little but we're not going to save these children ourselves but we hope for the best. But can't help get angry why people in their own country let this happen. Use condoms darn it. it4

I don’t believe in god. A being that is all-seeing. I believe that we humans have the power in ourselves to heal. Doctors are literal miracle workers. They heal people all the time and then people praise some god that did nothing. I believe the human mind, the people… they have the ability inside them. Nurses are miracle workers, too. I have been in accidents, serious ones. I was nearly killed when I was 6 when a truck ran a red light and hit me in a crosswalk. A drunk driver hit me head on. I e had 24 operations. I’m ok now. I made it. I didn’t once ask a god to heal me. I asked those who were doctors to care for me. Through their knowledge and ability, they healed me. If god is so good, if god loves all no matter what… why did my church throw me out because if a decision I never made? Why did god take my brother away? Why did my own family turn their backs on me and left me homeless at only 16? I didn’t do drugs. Up until that fateful day, I was “a good kid”. Stayed out of trouble. Went to school. Just a good person until one day, I told them I’m different. They revolted with the news. Acted like I was the devil. It went from a good kid to get out of my house. I have been through a living hell. Not once has any so called god helped me see it through. I did it on my own. Lifted myself out of homelessness, Went to university, have a home and a business. God didn’t do any of that. I did. On my own. It makes me angry when people credit my success to god. I did it. I made it happen. The church who claims to love all sure hated me. Theirs no hate like religious love. This boy is doing well because he had it in him to rise above this. Because doctors helped him along the way. Because, this boy wanted to heal and there is the power of god. We are given strength we don’t know we have as humans. Our own hands are blessed with the ability to make life happen. All the evil in this world… god doesn’t exist. I’ve been this first hand from a church member to an outcast all the while my church wished the worst to happen to me. Yet, I’m better off than they are and I earned it. I’m ranting now. My point, there isn’t a god that I have ever seen any shred of evidence… but the human race has the ability to work miracles, heal people and endure the hardest of times and come out on top. We can’t do that alone, friendships, family, faith in one’s-self… all these things are our own power. 😅
