Chocolate cake recipetineats I got 2 square pyrex glass trays , I don't know sizes but I know my big tray holds over 2litres water under 3litre water and I know small tray holds over 1litre water under 2litres water an also I know I got 1 each rounds 24cm 26cm 28cm springform pans so now I'm unable to determine which tray/ pan il need, glass or springform pan an I don't know if il double recipe or half recipe I'm not sure , but yes I do have plan to use glass ( big ) or biggest springform pan as I wanted big cake , I want lot of cake an I wanted well risen cake and I wanted light fluffy moist tender cake , I don't want dry cake I don't want heavy dense cake I don't want cracked an not sinked cake , so recipe is grease 2 × 22cm or 9 cake pans an bake for 35 mins : an heres recipe 1 cup milk an 2 cup sugar and three quarter cup cocoa an 1 and three quarter cup flour an 1 and half tsp BP and 1 an half tsp bicarbonate and half cup oil an 2 cup sugar an 1 cup boil water an 1 tsp salt an 2 egg , not separate and 2 tsp vinalla essence

So sorry for the late reply dear You can use any pan you like but to make sure the cake isn’t too dense, make sure there’s not too much batter in the tray because that will make the cake dense and not fluffy. If the recipe uses 2 trays then I also recommend using 2 for each of the layers because sometimes for a cake they use one pan and then half the cake and put frosting in between. However if you feel that your pans are small I suggest putting half the batter into each tray to ensure the cake is fluffy and that it’ll make two bases for you

If your cake comes out dry you can make a sugar syrup which is easily made with just sugar and water and apply it into the cake. But to make sure it doesn’t dry out just bake the cake at 180 celcius or 356 and check with a toothpick at the end (but don’t poke it in the middle, in the side instead)

My personal recipe that I use for cakes is just measure the eggs and whatever is the measurement you use l the same measurement for the butter, sugar & flour which makes it so easy and gives you the perfect cake
