I used to do exactly the same thing (until I lost my MB...). The gel ink made it much more comfortable to write with everyday (and I felt like I could AFFORD to use it everyday)!

good job... shame that you have to take it apart to just change out the lower gasket/holder where it leaks on the lower side of the shaft... mine is now leaking enough that it needs to be overhauled...

touches your heart! the human touch ...I love that about these blocks!!! These have little to do with what quilting has become today...where perfection and obsession with it rule the day....Big bucks$$$ buying fabric to make a quilt??...The quilting I'm interested in .uses only scrap fabric in the old tradition.

I'm curious about the glass doors. Did they help with efficiency or just keep embers from falling out. I grew up with one years ago and remember how nice it was. I'm wondering if it could go into at least flue to chimney of a fireplace like an insert

I could not find plastic or nylon 1/4" thick so I used a 1/8" thick washer. Roughed it out on the grinder, angle grinder between teeth, finished and smoothed with dremel. Centered it on the pawl with washers and spacers, hope it doesn't wear the pawl. Works great, thnx

Nowhere that I know of. Upon closing, you would have thought that someone would have bought the inventory. Or maybe there's shelves of dusty parts sitting in the old factory today. Thanks for your comment.

I prefer the Uni-ball 207 and use it on my Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire ballpoint pen. As far as my Rollerballs, I just refill them with fountain pen ink.
