On a whim to clear my mind & to reconnect to nature, I set of & bivouacked under a tarp on top of thorp cloud at 1.30am with a clear morning & a full moon, t’was so peaceful. Had to move to the lower back of the hill as the wind got up..wow, I awoke to a frosty morning with the dragons breath rolling in.

Ah yeah the lighting can be a pain. Little secret...this was my 2nd attempt lol. I came here a few weeks before but lost the light too quickly while setting up, so packed up and went home lol.

I used to camp out on Vauxhall's stadium (you're going to have google that one 😂) when I was a teenager, we had no tent, just slept on the seats with a sleeping bag. Was in the mid 90s so was all open plan then. We'd smoke weed, listen to music and look at the stars all night, good days.

It's much less nerve-racking when you're younger lol. I did it once next to a river with a couple of friends, no gear at all though (it wasn't planned) was nice though sleeping under the stars.

Found some conkers the other day, picked them all up and then realised nobody else was bothered 😂, they used to be scavenged big time lol. Few of my friends have done the coast to coast, split it into parts, might be out of your way tho.

Lol yeah I remember there were 3 trees outside school that I never got a single conker from because they were always nabbed before I could even get there. That's actually on my list as well lol. Again only issue is we sort of have to make it a holiday otherwise Shell is without a car for a week lol.
