Is that a slot on the front for mounting headlamps? If it is, how wide is it? Thanks

The adjustable bridge is pretty cool, but for almost 900.00 I'll stick to tying a knot in mine, I would love to know how much it costs to build the saddle, I'm sure there's at least a 200% markup.

If you want to save 300ish just get the basic tree motion, or any harness with a rope bridge, then get yourself a micro rope grab/ascender and slap in between the stopper knot and the metal plate of the bridge… voila adjustable bridge. Kong duck ascender and wild country ropeman both work well. Enjoy stay safe

hands down best device on the market, just wish the rope capture was less open and they put a pulley on it, if they would do those 2 things, everyone and their brother would buy one.

Best device on the market?! You're trippin
@ztkrxАй бұрын
@ probably cause it’s far too advanced for you. if you know what you’re doing, then there’s no better device. yeah, of course there’s smoother devices on rope but as far as locking onto a rope and never slipping, there is no better. practice with it and l guarantee you’ll never look back. if they ever put a pulley on this thing than everyone and their brother would buy one, trust n believe.🫡💪🏼

these are a nifty improvement - and the use of the double one to bypass a limb - well that's what I'd call bridging the gap

I'm disappointed that DMM does not offer the lower/forward D's as a replacement part. They only offer the Rope Bone, Knot Blocker, and Rope Bridge Adjuster as parts for the D's, but not the D's themselves. I have a project that they would be perfect for two of the entire assemblies, but no joy according to the folks in Wales. 😡 I guess that I will have to wait for a decommissioned Kinisi saddle to show up somewhere to scavenge them from. 🤬

I love the clip. I use 2 of these clips. Since I use a sport climbing harness and a tree climbing harness, I can quickly change the clips to wherever I need them. For the price, they are unbeatable and they also fit well with my Zodiac 3R helmet. 👍

Instead of a whoopie sling, would a rachet strap work?
@jakeharris44657 ай бұрын
We made a few of these and put 2 pins instead of 1 at the tail out end so you don’t get cross over of the ropes it makes a huge difference to be able to stand at any angle and have no bind up,just keep the usual amount of tension on the rope and ya good to go. You run the rope in between the the two 18mm pins 👍

if these slings were to experience dynamic loads, but loads of 1/2 or 1/3 of the WLL, would there be any danger of breakage/failure?
