Not only is he not qualified academically to judge but he's obvoiusly never even bothered to examine the genetic literature by actual population geneticists that have done comparative analysis. Some foreign nationalist hostile towards ethnic Greeks cherrypick "Greek" authors like Sofos to argue we are not "Real" Greeks. They parade him around to say "See even a Greek agrees with us. What the patronizing bigots miss.. if one uses Sofos modennist view of historytelling rather than a more classical primordialist approach...., then their own identities are far far more fake than Greek. Spiros has also, incompetently, missed that Skopje''s foreign apologists are flip-flopping between modernism and primoridialism a-la-carte. While he claims to speak for the past, he can't be bothered to notice Skopje's foreign apologists looked the other way as Skopians turned into ancient Macedonians and promoted irredentism right before their eyes. THX for an intresting, not heated presentation. As a half greek/half german, i am fine whit the decision of the british people leaving the Eu. There wera always not commited to the european idea, watching only for their own interestes and ready to sell the european idea to the americans.
