Hi, yeah as shown in the video here, that's definitely not how it should be behaving as the whole point of using these detail tools is so the fonts, text sizes, dimensions, and hatches match in size on the sheet even if the details are created at different scales. The tools are designed to remove the need to figure out how to scale things correctly. Sounds like somebody might have created all those details without watching our Details Trainer series (any F/X Ribbon, Help dropdown, Trainer. You can also type LANDFX in the commandline to get there). My best guess with the behaviour you're describing is that somebody in your office might have set all that text to an annotative text style. You cannot use annotative text in Land F/X details. The whole point is that it's an accurate scale, and set size when placed on a detail sheet. Check your details and see if that's the case. You can clean it up by renaming any existing text, mleader or dimension styles and using our tools to place new dummy ones, then use Match Properties to fix any already placed. Then use save detail. You might also need to clean up the defined text styles in your detail sheets, too. If you need help with this or think it might be something else, we'll be happy to take a look to set you guys back on the right track with professional looking detail sheets. We took a look at the uploaded video and we can't find any issues with the quality at the beginning. It's possible your quality settings on KZbin were low or your internet was slower than normal causing quality to drop in order to play.

Moasure currently doesn’t have a way to set north or the starting coordinates. What is mentioned in the video, and from what we understand, there are future builds that Moasure is talking about that might include gps features, but it is only a discussion at this point. Best thing to do is to make sure you mark a few points that you can align once back in your plan. We'd also recommend reaching out Moasure, as they may prioritize items like this once they see requests for it from the community.

The alignment process in Autocad is our best option, two or three points measured with a GPS will give us real geolocation of moasure measured shapes. To incorporate GPS function in moasure as they are talking is a game change out of moasure principle

Planting F/X is a plugin for AutoCAD, as AutoCAD LT doesn't support plugins, LT cannot run Planting F/X. F/X CAD is similar to AutoCAD LT in that it doesn't support plugins aside from the Land F/X suite and is customized to better suit workflows used by Landscape Architects.

The Land F/X toolset is specifically geared towards automating calculations and improving workflows which reduces the time needed to complete designs which in turns saves your clients time/money and opens you up to be able to take on more designs. As our product is a plugin for CAD we generally recommend having a solid understanding of the underlying CAD engine first but you can jump into both fresh. All Land F/X menus are setup by F/X Workstation, once installed they should automatically appear but may require manual reloading of the menus in some cases.
