This piece was written for the Jazz Band at UW River Falls. Dr. David Milne was one of Fred's composition students. Piano solo is great in this recording! Band is too loud during the soprano sax solo.

A good first effort on the Alto solo. Listen to your intonation and pay attention to how you sound with the band. More practice will help you develop your ear and also help you if you want to try improvising the solo around the melody. Good luck and keep playing. It is always great to hear a young band keeping the music alive.

Intonation Is a smidgen off, but there's actually a shit ton of Dissonance in Sturms writing of this arrangement for that section
