Didn’t go over everything about “GI” stuff as the title states . Only appendicitis but not even all of it. Not a helpful video

I was sent here from the in depth course review from Sarah Michelle I paid for to find the video on pediatric skin conditions (Rubeola, rubella, mumps, roseola) and the "great little chart" at the end of the video but the video does not exist.......

I wish my PCP would have told me about the possible SSRI discontinuation syndrome and withdraw symptoms that would take me years to wean off. PCPs are so so important but in my personal opinion, once psych meds are started that patient should be seeing a psych.

Why? Psychiatrists don't do anything more than pcps.

I remember a physician sending patient to er under suspect of appendicitis. I told him not to do it, just do 3 maneuvers and make questions to patient like : did u pooop today? Fever? He hated me. But all of the patients received in urgent he sent for susoected appendicitis...no cases become positive for appendicitis. He is still physician and earn 200k a year with poor medical knoledge. I need an advice: Umnemployed FNP. Ended a gpa 3.97, honors. I was physician in my birth country in south america, and i would feel more comfortable being fnp rather than rn. I got my fnp license 3 years ago just after fnp graduation, but i cannot find a job as fnp because all places request me at least 1 year of fnp experience. I WISH TO WORK FOR FREE, NO CHARGE FOR HOMELESS AND NEW IMMIGRANTS. I have a long history of volunteer from my country, but the organizations i gave my work for free were receiving money as 501c3 organizations. I want to donate my work as fnp for free directly in parks, that is my dream, but i need collaborative physician bc i live in florida. Today i do zumba classes twice a week. I lost my job as rn bc i wanted to dedicate my full time to study the fnp. Besides, i was a RN in public health, not in a hospital. After fnp completion in 2021 i couldn't find a job as RN or FNP. I do zumba. I think is unfair to study more, get a msn and worsen my condition. When i apply as RN with a fnp license and only experience in public health, hummm ....also i am in my 50s. One hospital offered me 20 dollars per hour hiring me as NEW RN and trainig me to be a rn in hospital. In my last RN job in public health i was earning 30 per hour in 2019. After my resignation they don't want to hire me again. At least i would like to donate my work. My worst desicion was become fnp. I did it because i was physician abroad and i really wanted to practice again, but in the usa i couldn't validate my physician credentials. I worked as rn in public health for 10 years, now nobody wants a rn without hospitals experience, and nobody wants to hire a fnp without experience. What can i do? Any advice?

Thank you so much for this video! I’m a high school senior trying to decide between pursuing nursing (end goal of becoming an NP in women’s health) or pre med, with the end goal of become an OBGYN MD. Any advice?
@DrShaySmith2 ай бұрын
Hey, I'm a WHNP. Some factors to take into consideration when deciding if you want to become a WHNP vs. OB-GYN, are length of education paths, your student loan debt, work-life balance, desired lifestyle, career options/flexibility, income potential, and desired scope of practice. WHNPs typically don't perform surgeries or deliver babies, while OB-GYNs can. Certified Nurse Midwives are a happy medium between the two options if delivering babies is important to you, but you don't want to spend 12 years in school and graduate with a ton of debt. Ultimately, you should try to shadow and interview someone from each profession to get a better understanding of each role. I hope that helps.
