I mean, I don't use aim assit, so. You can even check my settings video. Also, by definition, it is more difficult to aim with a controller. We do just fine, however, over on the consoles.

I prefer the bow because follow up shots are faster and hip fire is tighter. My best budget weapon would be bow crossbow is a close second. Definitely the best "shotgun" in my opinion

Can they NOT first fix the bugs? Please? Like the dark tribute bug were when you hit the button to cash in, instead of it giving you some bonus, it instead just gives you nothing and takes away the dark tribute like normal. WTF is that all about?

pretty sure it still gives you your reward its just a visual bug. you can usually see either blood bonds/hunt $ increasing right when you click, or 2 upgrade points on your hunter. easy way to check if you still got the reward. if it's none of those then you probably got a weapon reward

Suggon was seduced by op meta weapons and play tested new poison variants and helped introduce them into hunt. He betrayed and teamkilled your father. And now, normal weapons are all but extinct.

I try. Mostly just using my ears. I have almost 3k hours in the game.

@@modernoverman you are very good at it. Sometimes I have games where I can work out where the enemies are and others where I don't and die quickly. The puzzle cat and mouse element of working out where they are is what makes the game so fun.

For sure. Yeah I think the big thing that helps is also how you move throughout the map. The more familiar you are with the map/compounds, and have a good ear/headphones, you can track where people are. And with enough exp, you can predict where players will go.

Hard to say exactly. I'm a 5 star, but matchmaking is really borked right now. So sometimes I'm paired with 6 stars and 1 stars in the same game.

@@WolfBlade706 it matters because of their movement at least on the 1st clip I though the players he was going against were one starts but afterwards I notice this is PS5 & not PC I was trying to gauge his experience on PS5 with my on PC which is night and day. thank you for the explanation @modemoverman

Yeah movement will always be a little different on console, keep in mind, because of using a controller. Those particular players were fairly aggressive. I remember them being 4 or 5 stars.

I couldn't disagree more, respectively. Necro should have never been put in the game, but making it a burn trait is a push in the right direction. Necro puts people in a mindset that allows them to make more mistakes, and continually rewards bad play.

Mammon's Gulch is the best addition to Hunt in years. No gun or pact or boss could compare. I wish Crytek could put out a new map every 18 months.

Is anyone else noticing how inconsistent high powered single shot weapons are this update? I have never got so many hit markers at close range with the Romero, the crossbow(got hit marker with the shot bolt today first time ever) and the bow. The nitro as been ruined, accuracy nerf is silly, I have missed unmoving target in compound fights because aiming the sight dead centre body mass at about 10m don’t mean shit. I believe they have buffed the spam weapons to encourage quicker paced gun play. When people say that shotguns are now awesome you will watch them play and it is the CK, Spector and the slate, all are spammable.

I think it truly depends. All shotguns got a buff with smaller crosshairs (spread), and the long barrel shotguns have always been best (Romero, C&K, Specter). However, I do think a lot of aim issues might come down to greater weapon sway and bullet drop at a distance (obv.) As far as the more spammy weapons are concerned, I think Crytek has for a long time been moving in the direction of making those stronger as opposed to the more skill based weapons, in order to appeal to the smallest common denominator.

Just curious do you play on a 4k monitor/tv ? I was getting a bit of lag on my ps5 while playing in 4k but when I switched my res to 1080p it seemed to help a bit

I do play with a 4K TV, yes. I still experience lag, but I refuse to switch to 1080p, because a PS5 shouldn't have a problem running this game. It's on Crytek at this point.

It seems to be too much fire and flares that causes the lag especially if it is a night map.

I think that's part of it. But it's most likely servers are still shit right now and can't handle the amount of players. Plus, they clearly have an imperfect engine.
