Im no fan of pump jacks or disposal pumps. 😂I sure dont like rod jacks, good way for horses head to end up in back of the pickup. 😂

Nobody my age or younger knows what a pumpjack is, when you you say "walking beam" they think gymnastics & nobody ate WHEATIES or remembers when Bruce Jenner still had a w.....😔

Lmao looks like a normal fix let’s only fix the broken side and not check the other one and make sure it’s not ready to do the same thing lol

Hey, Jim, Where'd you get the pin to replace the missing one? Why, as luck had it. I found a good one on the other side, Andy!

I hope I’m not the only one who finds these things both terrifying and interesting, especially when it was making that really high-pitched grinding noise

Only ever seen two wrist pin breaks. In both cases the jack ripped itself apart and the beam was lying on the ground.
@bobvincent48413 жыл бұрын
Already do both wrist pins together at the same time.

That's what I hate about pumping, usually bad news to report and not good. But I guess that's what they pay us for is to prevent, but also to "find" problems.

it's a hell of a feeling pumping wells at night
@JerryWick7 жыл бұрын
Jimmy Chambers yeah all the normal sounds of pumping units creaking, motors whirring, check valves tapping, as the wellsite is enveloped in darkness, while you faintly see the dark shadow of the big black beam unit coming up and down like a animal in the night. It just leaves a weird feeling. Know exactly what you mean
@mikemcinnis128 жыл бұрын
good thing you got it stopped in time, i worked on one with a service rig the same thing happened but the walking beam and head came off and crushed a chemical tank and bent/pushed the wellhead twisted polish rod it was pretty interesting to see, something that doesn't happen very often.
