Cultural shock and ignorance at its finest To see black Africans arguing that they do not fall into the habesha term is quite pathetic and funny tbh because no matter how hard they people try to bend and middle themselves from the word with whatever reason they have its all bs. Habesha and Ethiopian are the same meaning. Black, Ethiopian despite the ethnicity. Whats more idiotic is that I've seen some of the Oromo in Ethiopia paint tthemselves as , and i quote . "INDIGENOUS BLACK AFRICANS" and they don't acknowledge the word habesha at all. Almost spit my coffee while reading it And then the Eritreans delusionals that call themselves now as Eritreans and will get offended when someone calls them habesha! The fucking irony. Africans and their African problems lol!

At 16:42, you said Eritreans and Ethiopians vary in different skin tones etc "yet we all identify with this word habesha." That is completely untrue. Many Eritreans do not identify as habesha namely ethnic minorities, Muslims, people of political consciousness, and/or those who come from non-Tigrinya enthnolinguistic groups (nearly half). That should be clarified. To say all Eritreans identify with habesha would be significant erasure.

for me it not about the fear of going places/events alone but, rather feeling like I have much to bare on my own journey that it makes emotionally wanting to be with someone at times. I'm on my own grind for sure and I'm working hard on myself but, man sometimes the isolation just leaves me wanting the someone beside me. I plan to do my own video on this one day.

thank you for sharing and i feel you 10000%! working on yourself and grinding solo can be so rewarding, but there's that weight that builds up sometimes. it requires bravery to work on your own path, even when it gets tough. remember that you're not alone in feeling this way, and finding balance between independence and connection is something so many of us are navigating too. thank you again for sharing this-it resonated with me deeply as I continue to navigate my own path 🙏🏾
