Fascinating video. I lived a No 4 Achluachrach in the 60s. Originally the hostel was No 1 Achluachrach in those days, and Kenny Kennedy lived there with his father. When Kenny's father died in 1966 he sold the croft and became a monk at the Monastry near Stroud. He was a commando during the war with a Military Medal. I knew him well.

On their website The Private Single Bedroom shows no shower.. So what If I wanted to have a shower.. Do I need to pay extra fees.. or there will be a shared shower?

Oh no extra fees , there are showers etc but they are communal but it’s clean😉

I stayed a week at the Euro hostel last november and enjoyed it very much, had a private room with shared bathroom and shower, was all very nice and clean. People at reception were very nice. I would go back for sure.

Hi there warriorBruh yes for me I think it’s good .location is great and even though facilities are basic it was good enough for us although it’s shared shower/bath rooms and wash facilities so if your into that you’ll be ok. I only stayed one night and was fine and cheap as chips. But if I was to stay longer I would book somthing better 😉hope that helps, have a nice trip Bruh 😎

Try the abode Hotel on Bath Street, ot the pipers tryst at Buchanan street/cowcaddens, or the grand Central at Central Station hope Street, I'll show you all the good street art and nice views and nice places to visit in Glasgow and surrounds
