Sorry for the beeping noise in the background. I always have this at Schiphol and it is because the radar is interfering with the microphone. So every beep you hear is actually the radar of Schiphol making a full rotation.

Hoi Ad, geen enkel probleem dat je het filmpje deelt! Des te meer mensen die ervan kunnen genieten! Ik zou graag lid willen worden maar ik heb zelf geen Facebook helaas. In ieder geval bedankt voor het kijken en delen van mijn filmpje! Ik hoop snel nog een keer mee te kunnen vliegen met de Dakota. Wat een genot en wat een heerlijk toestel om op te vliegen. Het was in ieder geval een droom die uit kwam :)

Before update GPU always work at 8 gb even 10gb, after update no more than 6-7 gb... I cry after paying so much money for the rtx3080 and that it works in mid-gear

Don't worry mate, 3080 is future proofing. DirectX12 is coming to MSFS soon, which will introduce Raytracing too. And higher res VR.

Your Ram speed is your systems bottleneck. Have you XMP profile activated? 2660mhz Ram on the 5800x is quite low.

Yeah I agree. I'm gonna look into boosting it but I only have one XMP profile by default which is 3600mhz. And the 5800x doesn't support that speed so I'll have to tune it manually at some point. Thanks for your comment!

@@Avio033 no problem, other than that you have a high end machine. And since MSFS is highly CPU limited especially @ 4K you will leverage your performance with a little change. Are you sure it's not compatible? Have you tried to activate it? I use a 5600x @ 3933mhz ram without any issues.

@@vrj0 Yeah I tried it and PC didn't even go into bios anymore. Had to reset the bios. I think it goes up to 3200mhz but I still have to figure out the voltage with that speed. Unless there's something I'm missing. Like, something I have to unlock to enable 3600mhz compatability.

@@Avio033 yes, on some boards activate XMP alone is not enought. Try to activate your XMP 3600Mhz profile and change dram voltage from auto to 1.39V. Start with that and go up to 1.43 if below is not running stable.

Good comparison video. They clearly downgrade ground and building texture and their drawn distance to boost up the performance.

Thanks for watching and for the compliment! I have to say I didn't even quite notice the downgrade in textures and draw distance. What I do notice is that something has changed with the anti aliasing. Textures seem sharper and it especially stands out when there's motion or when you're looking around. It looks worse tbh. Another thing that I noticed is that the sky seems way more blue. Like, neon blue almost. Way too saturated. Visually the sim definitely looks a bit worse in my opnion. BUT, performance is great now. Very smooth. Very occasional stutters but other than that, lowest fps I get is 40. And I happily trade a bit of visual quality for that kind of performance.

@@Avio033 Agree, light in general are oversaturated, sometimes almost blinding the sight of the horizon. But the buildings textures are definetly worse, just fly a cessna over Paris and you notice the melting buildings. I dont mind the LOD but this take all the imersion away despite finaly be able to do it above 30 fps.

@@Avio033 one thing that I noticed on final approach is that some of the yellow taxi signs pop in at the very last second compared to previously where they were rendered at a distance. Just watch the final approach on landing and you'll see what I'm talking about

@@32ndWolfhounds Dat doet mij goed om te horen! Ookal doe ik het voor de hobby en verdien ik er niks mee (en dat hoef ik ook niet), ik doe echt mijn best om goede kwaliteit videos te maken. Vooral video stabiliteit is vaak toch lastig. Maar het is tof om te horen dat het gezien en gewaardeerd word. Dankjewel!

@@Avio033 Het is en blijft ook een hobby. Zo denk ik er ook over. Ik heb een ander kanaal (vuurwerk, bijna 20K subs) waar ik wel wat geld mee pak en dat investeer ik weer in camera's, pc upgrade en onlangs een scooter :) De camera upgrades kan ik dan ook weer voor dit kanaal gebruiken. Ik moet alleen wat actiever worden met spotten haha. Stabiele video's is zeker wel lastig ja. Doe je dat middels software?

@@32ndWolfhounds Hah ja dat is een goede manier om aan hardware te komen. Volgensmij heb ik je filmpjes zelfs wel eens gezien, van vuurwerk. Je gebruikersnaam kwam me bekend voor iig. Ja voor stabilisatie probeer ik van alles. Software idd maar heb ook een statief met vloeistof kop en een goede lens die samenwerkt met de in-body stabilisation van mijn A7Rii. Maar ook met al die hardware is het nog iedere keer weer uitvinden wat het meest stabiele is. Kwa software doe ik het met Premiere Pro en dan Warp Stabilizer.

Hey dankje voor je reactie! Weet niet zeker hoeveel beeldjes per seconde. Ik had de GoPro gewoon op 60fps gezet en heb daarna de opname keer 32 versneld met Premiere pro. Het komt dus echt van een filmpje af dat ik simpelweg heb versneld :)

Oof, I don't remember.. I think it was with shift+f2 which brought up a screen to select cold and dark startup.
