I think this is a very timely video. I have been suffering from FOMO syndrome lately and have decided to really cut back on my buying for the next year (I may need a therapist to see me through this). I have a wonderful wardrobe in my closet that seems to belong to someone else, because I don't wear clothes like the ones I seem to own. I really like the concept of buying less but buying better. I always reach for the same thing, and it dawned on me after watching your video, it might be nice to be reaching for an item that is high quality and timeless, rather than a cheaper item (quality wise, certainly not price wise). Looking forward to your channel in 2025.

Thank you for such honesty! I get in the same problem with subscription boxes...buying for my fantasy self....still haven't worn them. 🤭 And when I order online at my favorite stores I've definitively noticed a change in quality! Here's to next year being more mindful of my spending/shopping and only buying what I WILL wear! My fanatsy self be gone! Great videos always....love watching ❤❤

About 10 years ago, my daughter’s American Eagle jeans rubbed off onto our leather sofa. I was actually going to order those exact pants. I won’t now because I don’t want the dye transfer on my new sofa.

I have to agree with you. I have a few great pieces from Walmart that have lasted with special care, but my favorite sweaters are often higher quality natural fiber sweaters.

For tubing, it’s the tartelette XL. I reach for it almost every day. It’s travel friendly and easy to remove. I do love Lancôme lash idole and benefit roller lash for “regular mascara”

Thanks for the comment! I do love the sweater and I haven’t returned it yet. I tried folding the cuffs and it helps. The jeans were just a bit tight around my waist and upper hip area. I go between a 29 and a 30-especially with 100% cotton. There isn’t any stretch.

I was trying on those stovepipe jeans just before I saw the video & I totally agree…the denim looks ‘old’ & not in a vintage way! I also could not figure out what shoes/ boots to wear with them so back they go!👍

@@SimplyCerisa My ultimate fave, because the color is perfect and it looks so natural, is the Benetint by Benefit. It's been my favorite cheek and lip product for the past 15 years lol. I've also been happy with Physician's Formula powder blush in either of the two lightest shades, one for winter and one for summer. PF products are good on my sensitive skin and the blushes are nicely multitoned, not too cool or too warm! But also not flat or dull like some more neutral tones can be. P.S. Benefit now has like 6 different shades of the Benetint lip and cheek stain+tint :) but the Benetint color (Rose) is still my favorite. The bright red is really good too 😊 hope this helps!
