Come to think of it, it is very possible that Gabby & Jay reunited. According to what happened to the characters on PD, Antonio is now in Puerto Rico with Gabby, while Jay is in Bolivia, which is not that far by plane, and Antonio and Halstead were the best buddies, in fact, they were the OGS of PD, and they were already friends on Fire. So I'm sure Jay would love to see his friend, and Antonio would love to see Jay too, and check how his life is going, so Jay while visiting Antonio could meet Gabby there and reconnect with her. They are both divorced, and they were always great for each other. For me, the best romantic partners for Jay were Erin & Gabby. Erin was without any doubt, the greatest love of Jay's life but they ended up so badly, Erin broke Jay's heart and didn't even say a real goodbye to him, that it is impossible to imagine they would come back to each other, and Erin was determined to start fresh elsewhere. But we know that more than one person is destined for each of us, so another great love could be found, and Gabby and Jay reconnecting, especially when Antonio is still buddies with Jay, is very realistic. Gabby and Jay were both always very determined, strong characters, who cared deeply about helping others and different causes, so they actually fit perfectly with each other. And they both had similar experiences with their past romantic partners. Gabby's will to help people constantly, her convictions, and her being, in general, constantly 'on the mission' were clearly traits she didn't exactly share with Casey, Casey wanted a calmer, less 'activist' life since he dealt with a lot of stress on his job, and this is why Gabby & Casey divorced in the first place. Jay, on the other hand, loved Erin deeply and she definitely shared his drive to help others too, but again - it ended badly with Erin, just as for Casey and Gabby. After Erin, Gabby is the next one who is similar to Jay when it comes to wanting to help others, and she is also very sensitive, good human, just as Jay is (he was taking care of his dying mum when he returned from the war because Will could not be bothered). So they absolutely would make a great couple. In fact, before Jay was transferred to Voights Unit and met Erin, he wanted to continue his relationship with Gabby, but if you remember these Fire episodes, Gabby said no, not because she wasn't interested or falling for Jay, she actually was falling for him hard, but as she said, she didn't want to let herself be in love with a cop and start a serious relationship with a cop, since it is a very dangerous job, and Gabby already had a cop brother and knew how destructive and dangerous this job is. She didn't want to deal with it, in both cases - her brother and her partner - and be constantly afraid of them being killed. And then, only after Jay, Gabby got together with Matt, so the irony is, that Jay&Gabby got together before Casey&Gabby or Jay&Erin. So they were actually, first, the original couple on One Chicago, only the circumstances broke them apart, and now these circumstances have changed for the better. Because Antonio isn't really a cop anymore (idk what he is doing in Puerto Rico, but even in Chicago Justice he was already more of an investigator which was a safer job than Intelligence, so maybe he is again an investigator there too), and yeah, Jay still does the dangerous job because he is in special forces in Bolivia, but at least now Gabby wouldn't have to worry about Antonio. Both Gabby &Jay are now more experienced which helps, and since Jay is now traveling a lot as a special forces soldier, then Gabby could travel with Jay, or somehow arrange to fight for her causes out there, around the globe, in some international humanitarian organization, and that would fit them both. Worth mentioning that they always had beautiful chemistry together, almost just as much as Jay and Erin. So they could be the perfect couple. I wish that PD mentioned that Jay traveled to Puerto Rico, maybe did some mission there, reconnected with Gabby, and they both gave their romance another try. Now, when it comes to Hailey, like with Erin, it also got totally ruined. Hailey and Jay got ruined forever, but they actually had chemistry, the difference is, that it was more of a platonic one. Hailey and Jay definitely didn't have as much sexual chemistry and passion as Jay and Erin or Jay and Gabby, but their romance could have worked simply if the writers wrote them happy and without the stupid drama. But the writers chose total darkness and ruined it. Because Hailey and Jay before they got together romantically, were actually perfect partners on the job and they had a banter and trust similar to Mulder and Scully, so the writers should have left them to be like this - platonic. That would be great angst, and the first this type of partnership on PD. But no, they had to ruin it! If they planned to ruin Jay and Hailey as much as they ended up doing, then the platonic option was so much better! Now it's forever ruined. But I also never liked Hailey & Jay's romance as much as Erin& Jay's or Gabby& Jay's, so again - I would love for Gabby and Jay to end up together, and now the road is open for both Gabby and Jay. Jay actually marrying Gabby, and this time forever, becoming family with Antonio would make for a brilliant storyline and closing chapter for all these 3 characters, that started together!

This Live Action turned Ariel and Eric into my favorite couple, the animated movie I liked, but in this Life Action I loved the chemistry and development of the story that Halle and Jonah had. And besides, Halle with his amazing voice was the one to be Ariel and Jonah was the one to play Eric ❤️😍. JONAH HAUER KING COME FIND ME 🙌🏻🙌🏻😍😍 I’M IN LOVED OF JONAH (ERIC)

Everyone talks about Eric's dimples, but I feel there isn't enough talk about how extremely gorgeous and expressive his eyes are. They portray very clearly how deeply he longed for and loved Ariel. I think this video does the best job of showing that, out of all of the fan edits that I've seen. You've done such an amazing job!

Aside from the fact that Halle gives a stunning and instantly iconic performance -- she IS the Little Mermaid come to life --Prince Eric and Ariel are a phenomenally beautiful couple, physically, spiritually, mythically: all of it. Of all the things said about this film, i have not heard or read one word about how Eric and Ariel beguilingly entwine the beauty of wholesome and innocent curiosity with that of the erotic charge of longing and desire. There. I just said it. And in addition to the two of them being startlingly beautiful people to see and hear, the two are jaw-dropping gorgeous in their chemistry, their physicality and tenderness together. Eric is in awe of Ariel just as she is drawn so powerfully to him. Perhaps that is part of the couple's beauty: they embody love as the encounter of discovery and transformation, literally.
