Arsenal interim boss Renee Slegers speaking to BBC Sport: "In both boxes we started really well and made decisive actions." On her unbeaten start as interim boss: "It's the players. We are stepping up as a staff as well. We try to facilitate, but the effort and work they put in is on them. I want to give credit to the players again." On if she can enjoy wins like today: "Towards the end I had a look at the away section. Fantastic. That was a moment of mindfulness and taking it all in." Great win and great confidence she has brought back to us.

I would like to thank Jonas for giving me some of my best memories as an Arsenal fan. I felt a connection right from your first game. His passion and energy on the sidelines were so refreshing to see. Under Joe, it often felt like we were overlooked by the bigger teams, but that completely changed with Jonas. It was great to see him stand his ground, especially when he pushed back against digs from Emma Hayes. The UWCL run and the trophies were amazing, but what I’ll remember most is the unity and selflessness the team showed, even with all the injuries we faced. Lastly, I wish it had ended on a better note, but I truly wish him all the best in your future endeavors.

This is not a sad moment; for Jonas or for Arsenal. It's a chance for both to find themselves and regain their convictions. The problem is that both will have to leave the chase for success, have faith in the path their life has set, and let success chase them. This will be harder for Arsenal than for Jonas. I'm old enough to remember the days of 'one nil to the Arsenal', before Arsene fucked you up and turned you into Barca Lite. Something that's clearly not in your DNA. Hence the problems with Arteta, 'good ebening', Jonas, and, and.... Time to find the modern day Sam Aledyce or Tony Pulis and, while you're at it, please send poor, misguided Mariona to some place where she'll be happy... Chitty at least.

Hi guys… missed the show last night. All i can say is that the result on Wednesday shouldn’t be much of a surprise because it has been coming for a while now. Arsenal Women used to be my escape from the stress of the men’s team but Jonas took that all away from me. A great man once said “IT’S TIME TO GO”

I wasn't sure about how far Jonas can take us but after watching City dismantling Barca and Meidema putting in a level of workrate I never saw in an Arsenal shirt I dont think our board would wait much longer to make a decision on him. A couple of positive results wont make any difference in my view if the right coach is available to hire.
