@@oleksandrvdovin7886 Believe or not but this was end of August of 2023. The thing is the weekend just before I started this adventure there was unusual weather conditions which had a lot of downpour and the temperatures dropped by quite a lot. That's why there's quite some snow on the highest peak, but that's not common at all for that season!

@@oleksandrvdovin7886 Glad you enjoyed it! Regarding the booking of a refuge on the go it really depends. I did the route end of March of last year, which in when the season kind of starts there. Some refuges were almost empty whereas others were fully packed. I would therefore advise to maybe plan the route a bit more carefully so you can book in advance. Or just test your luck 😉 Enjoy this new adventure of yours!

Hey, One advice I would give you is to bring enough water, especially if you go camping. There aren't really any fountains along the way, but since you'll pass at least a town a day you can always ask for refills then! The route is mostly pretty easy to follow, at times where it's not you'll have the typical rock stacks to guide you! I was really lucky with the weather a month ago, it was quite warm for the season (20°C+) and I didn't have any rain. Hopefully you'll have the same conditions 🤞🏼 Overall an amazing trail!
