Every time I hear Leslies 2 solo breaks, I just wish they'd go on for hours, just so freakin good...

I love this version more than any other they played. Leslie's playing is so smooth and clean. Damn shame there's no recorded video, should have been in the movie. Thank you Leslie, Felix, Corky, Peter and Jack!

this was not at woodstock, but at another music festival. A fine performance though.

My favorite song - sung at Woodstock - beautiful version of the late , great Jack Bruce. Sad to say , I did not attend . But I do go to Bethel these years to see wonderful aging artists .
So why are Joe Cocker and the Grease Band featured in the above photo?

This is not Woodstock version!!! Only announcement. On W version Felix, I think, forgot the last line of the I chorus. So, he started singing again.

A l époque j avais adoré cette chanson , complètement oublié ...trés heureux de l entendre de nouveau..excellent ça nous change de nos soupes actuelles.

The dynamics here are astounding; Felix's soaring, clear vocal singing a beautiful evocative song/ballad combined with the melodious intertwining instrumental backup makes this an outstanding anthem, perfect for that time and easily able to be timeless. I'm glad I saw Mountain shortly after Woodstock at Catholic University in D.C.

What an absolutely beautiful version. I'm not sure I've heard this before. Saw Mountain at the Fillmore east in '70. Not a moment of disappointment.

Mountain. Felix Pappillardi, Leslie West and Corky Laing should be in the rock HOF. Travesty that they are not and some no talent rappers are. HOF you suck

This is a great version of this song. There are actually 2 guitar solos. I’ve always listened to the studio version which is perfection. But this version is phenomenal. Mountain, what a band they were.

I played it on guitar yesterday with me mates. Love it.
This if I remember well was the version in the Woodstock: Three Days of Peace and Music album. But why isn't the same version as the album Mountain live woodstock? What is the actual version from woodstock???

The absolute best version of this great Jack Bruce song. I was not fortunate enough to be at Woodstock but saw Mountain in the early 70’s. Unfortunately Felix appeared to be so medicated that he could not remember most the words to Nantucket Sleigh Ride. The rest of the band became frustrated and angry and, sadly, broke up soon after.

Yeah, the best Leslie guitar solo ever... 💋 Some people say that this version wasn't from Woodstock at all, but "tricked in" from another concert. To be honest, I don't know. To me, this version with Leslie on his guitar, and the vocal of Felix, is enough. "Who's dunn it....?" 😅
