You should really give those Superfly 8s another try, I have several pairs of Vapor 14s (same boot - the sock) in FG, AG, and SG-PRO and I’ll admit that they take a while to break in, but once they break in they’re perfect. And if you play on artificial grass fields that aren’t in new condition then that AG soleplate is perfect. Nike doesn’t make a through and through AG soleplate for their top tier boots and instead only offer AG-PRO which is like a mix of FG & AG.

Due to the amount of stretch and out of box comfort that the upper offers, I would say yes. I recommend trying them on in the store if you can first, just to make sure.

Mercs are generally not good for wide feet, but I have quite wide feet and the vapor 15 academies fit me really well, most likely because they're academies, but generally go for phantoms if you want a wide foot boot, even tiempos are sorta narrow now
