Horrible call on the river. He blocks some bluffing hands on the turn, who could bet 3/4, I only see 67 suited and QK suited as a bluff, but those hands wouldn't raise often enough preflop. U still play in Germany?

I think a turn bet would have done the trick. They way he played it looked like he had AK or AJs or even AQ himself as he checks turn. A half pot turn bet would probably have given you credit for holding 10 10 or even JJ

They are very deep, Paul could have Queens in position also. If he bets on the turn he could have as value nearly every pocket Paar. As bluff 56,8t,tj and sometimes AQ, AJ - most of the time u shouldn't bluff with AQ or AJ. I normaly wouldn't fold on the turn if Paul would have bet 50%. It always depends on the player who is involved.

@@mikeklaus5013if you run it in a solver, in those positions JJ and up should always 4bet for value against a reg 3betting a normal amount, even 99s and TTs are almost pure 4bet but i dont expect low stake players to 4bet them often

Yeah GTO has way more 4BETS but you are very correct that it just doesn’t happen in these pools.

3bet preflop, check turn, 3/4 bet river is total bluff or AK, maybe AQ because he knows Paul can't really have AK. He would still bet his overpaars or sets, maybe top set would check sometimes turn. On the river also u wouldn't bet KK as example with 3/4. U can put ur hand into a bluff on the river but u really can't have many strong hands because u checked turn.

Short stack is not 3betting w a worse hand for such a small sizing from bb. This is 100% a call preflop. I dont think you’re confident in your postflop ability hence keep jamming pre in spots where u absolutely shouldn’t.

For all I know, Paul could be showing his 5 for the price of 2 hawaii shirts from Temu with his rent due from July. But what I do see is Paul playing bigger tables than before and being a nice bloke. Reckon some hands he's shown have been questionable, yeah. But he shows them, win or lose. The point; don't understand the amount of digress towards Punting Paul. Keep it up chap.

AQs always perform better for calling than just shoving, especially when we're IP. He will just snap fold AJ/KQ which we can get some value from, and we will run into AK/QQ+ so many times. We also want to keep all his 3b bluffs in, so call seems to be the only option.

Don’t love the jam here.. Just because he’s a short stack doesn’t give you a reason to be a donkey and jam AQ, short stacks literally thrive off deep stack players calling/jamming wider and this is a prime example

I am Spin&Gold 6max regular and i feel Paul should play here too, because he loves to shove and SnG is basically push or fold. Also he loves to bully shorter stacks when he is big stack which is correct play in SnG 6max. Thats the perfect format for him 😂
