That's a lot of time at peace with the Creator and your horses girl! All the very best for a safe ride and joyful experience. I have the same half breed from Trevor and altho I don't do 5000km at a time, my mare and I do about 5 hours a day 4 days a week and honestly, the Trevor James half breed (Barcoo) just gets better. Hopefully we can catch your progress somewhere online??!

My Aussie saddle has one billet on each side and the surcingle has a ring on both sides. I can't figure out how it's supposed to work?

The ring each side is meant for a Western type girth system, or a bates rig. The straps take a normal girth with 1 1/4 inch buckles usually. We can supply both

This has got to be the best value working saddle on the market today, I've been doing a ton of research on Aussie saddlers and their creations. Trevor James makes a saddle that you'll be leaving to your kids because they're built to last. I scored one of his fancier half breeds (second hand) a few years ago for my huge Belgian Draft mare. It's a great looking hard working saddle that just gets better with age and use. Even my dressage oriented girl friends love it, I'm converting them over one by one 😂 Thanks for a great saddle Trevor 🤠

Trevor this is a beautiful addition to your range of hand made aussie saddles. I'm still saving for my second one, hoping you can help me fit a 'difficult to fit' appy QH cross. It's been a nightmare to find a saddle that doesn't leave dry spots and hinder his shoulder movement. He's a great horse and I'm kinda desperate to help him move comfortably under saddle.

Like a Lada - what? If you mean the Russian built Lada range of cars you couldn't be more wrong. These saddle are more like a 79 series land cruiser, best of the best, capable and built to last.
