Hi, that's the threshold indicator, that LED lights up when the pedal is compressing the signal.

Hi Enrique! Hard question, I really don't think it matters too much, as long as you can connect with your instrument of choice. I usually pick up my 5 string basses unless there are some super high notes that are written for me and then I will use a 6 string. Good luck my friend!

when i tune my bass or guitar, i turn counter clockwise to add more tension , but i see you re doing it backward in this video , so does it really matter which way to turn ?

I depends on the bass. Some older Fenders turn CC, so the short answer is, it doesn't matter! Take care and good luck Keibee!
