I'm from the Loire Valley. I don't live there anymore (but I go back each year) and after many years out of the region I still find that something's missing when a town or a city does not have at least a small castle 😉 . My favorite château is Chenonceau, for its elegance.

I find it too touristy and prefer the less popular villages.

Really great Video. I'm Swedish and also exploring France since about 12 years now. Together with my wife. We love thw loire Valley! And, today, we have been in almost every corner of France. We are soon retired and will restart to explore France again.... We have our fauvorites, of course. Loire Valley is one of them. Normandie and Bretagne are also on our list. But we also enjoy the Alps of Provence. (We avoid the Riviera - it's not our style with all the tourists). Looking forward to follow you! Br, Johnny & Ewa - from Sweden

Thumbs down for the hardcoded subtitles. Those are distracting and unnecessary. If I want subs, I'll turn them on.

THERE ARE MANY FAKE HISTORICAL INFORMATION DESCRIBED IN YOUR VIDEO, BUT I DON'T BLAME YOU CARMELA VIAJERA, EUROPE IS FILLED WITH THE MAFIA AND THE ILLUMINATI, THEY ARE ROBBING THE LOIRE VALLEY, VERSAILLES, FROM THE CROWN OF FRANCE FOR A VERY LONG TIME NOW. THEY HAVE ROBBED THE ENTIRE WORLD AND EUROPEAN CONTINENT. YOUR TOUR AND VIDEO WAS AMAZING, THANK YOU FOR SHARING. NOVAHINA, VITÓRIA, 10/06/2024.

Yes these are information that I read from what would seem like good sources but I am just a traveler in search of stories.😊 Thank you so much for your message. I am intrigued and wish to know more! ❤️

@@carmelaviajera My family built these Castles. Thanks for filming and sharing the tour. I'm from the Loire family (Noble family from France), they are from the French King, crown of France Orléans-Bourbon, but these castles used to be owned by them when my ancestors lived there. They were still working with as a family until this last century before the world wars. We had to left everything including our castles, because It was all built during the Golden Age, and the Illuminatti, rebels, and Napoleon Bonaparte killed the King Louis XVI of France. They attacked Versailles and led France into war until they turned Europe into a DICTATORSHIP.

@@carmelaviajera We are called today "Loureiro", which originally worked with the nobles from Iberic Peninsula and France. But this is their original home, from the region where the blonds came from, the "Louro", means literally, "blond hair", It is a symbol from the "Angels" and the people of nobility in France. The word in french is "Loire", translates literally to, "Valley of the Blonds".

You have spewed a great deal of nonsense about my great-great-aunt Countess Zinaida Ivanovna de Chauveau (blw Narishkina), Marquise de Serres,, formerly Princess Yusupova. Get your facts right, girl. In 1956, Prince Felix Felixovich Yusupov, Count Sumarokov-Elston (who was Zenaida's great-grandsons, not her grandson, and was my third cousin) won a lawsuit against Finistère and gained possession of the castle. He sold the chapel to a rich Texan who had it dismantled stone by stone and had it rebuilt somewhere in Texas.

Ah of course history gets lost in translation! 😅 As a visitor in the chateau I got my “facts” from the official chateau’s tour and history pamphlet. Who knows what really happened lols. Thanks for the tip!🙏🏻

So beautiful. We're planning to visit the Loire Valley this weekend too. And probably too ambitious to be visiting as many chateaux as possible in one day. Do you have to pay for the tickets to visit the gardens of Chateau Chenonceau?

Hi! Yes you have to pay before entry to the gardens and chateau. There will be tickets right next to the gate to the entire property. Tickets are 15,5€ nowadays. Have a wonderful time and hope you cover as much chateaus as possible! Thanks a bunch!
