It’s still adult entertainment you’re still taking off your clothes you have wearing pieces on your nipple so it’s considered a stripping it’s another form

I do have to disagree with you I have been a stripper and burlesque performer, you can’t Generalise Stripping it is just as much a art more than it has ever been you know Dita Von Tease was a stripper and still to this day calls herself a stripper as well as a burlesque performer after all burlesque back in the hey day was called stripping ! Burlesque is just a more refined strip tease without the please it still falls into the same category as adult entertainment it does annoy me when burlesque performers are above strippers ,burlesque performers and strippers both seduce it’s time to just appreciate both arts and for burlesque dancers to get off their high horse

do they always need to finish the show topless ? they are already wearing revealing outfit , why the need to get undressed ? this is why I don't like burlesque

There are many kinds of burlesque now, some of which do not involve that level of strip. Some are about the performance, the costume changes (note: doesn’t mean removing down to skin), and even a variety of talents like singing, magic, various circus style performances like aerial, contortion, maybe telling jokes, but the point of it is to be provocative. That doesn’t have to mean overt nude sexuality. It can just be something that makes you think or wonder what’s going to happen next. A form of story telling.

You actually don’t have to take anything off in burlesque. You just have to reveal something.

I have been a fan since 1951 when I would peek in the door of a Show Bar in 1951 on my way to and from grammar school.. Most acts are much better today than they were then because the women are more beautiful and sexier than ever.
