I worked as a mechanic for a Tampa based company, that lined the ponds where slurry is stored. When that dries out, it is covered in 1000 mil PVC sheets, thermally welded together. I quit that job after a while, when phosphoric acid was found in people's water wells, that were miles away from these open pit eyesores. I had to take a two day course in order to get a permit from the Florida Phosphate Council. The self regulate, because if the government stepped in, EPA would close every phosphate mine in Florida. The leftover gypsum stacks have to be covered with soil, and the land can never be used again, because of residual radium, sometimes called Radon in the gypsum.The highest natural point in about 345 feet, gyp-stacks can be as high as 400 feet.

Hi. I've seen a lot of your shows and the work you do is phenomenal. If you don't mind i'd like to ask you about how to run speakers wires on Carolina Skiff. What type of fishing device do you recommend? Thank you very much for your input.

A friend of mine ordered a 21ft Black Tip new at the Tampa boat show. He finally got it 3years later and had to take it to another boat company to get it finished. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody.

This channels a joke they build these bad ass custom fishing boats and then all the owner wants to do is go park em at a sandbar and drink what a complete waste of time and effort 😂

These are now being built by Cay Sal Boatworks. The hull has been modified to include an integrated transom rated for 2,000 HP and will be a total length of 41ft.
@Therealtruthhurts2024Ай бұрын
Dpending on the manufacture all the hull ride and layout are OK except for the electrical and harnesses rigging pretty much are all junk put together by untrained workers . Before you buy, check all your underfloor electrical and make sure connections are made with water sealed connectors .

Ive also used this product on my bass boat. I didn’t use the paint thinner- it’s dry heat here in Az. And it was beautiful smooth thick coverage. ❤

I want to have this conversion done on my 1968 Glastron Gulfstream V-204. If you look up President LBJ’s boat, mine’s the same, except mine’s a couple years newer being a ‘68. The president’s had twin V8’s, I believe, but mine came with a single Mercruiser 160HP. It actually pushed the boat quite nicely, but if I could do the Armstrong conversion, I’d like maybe a Yamaha 200 or similar. It would be awesome to reclaim that cockpit space at the stern and put a fighting chair back there. I want to set this boat up for salt water trolling. For a 20’ boat, it’s a big deep V and she will tackle some big water.

Audible, the REPAIRS were made six-months ago, we've used the boat for THREE YEARS from Alaska to Florida. And none of the micro pinprick holes led to any appreciable deflation during a full-day of fishing. This thing has been in every environment from rock-filled rivers to stump-laden lakes -- and all stops in between. THAT'S what you need to know 🙂Not for everybody, just those that enjoy lightweight, portable fishing platforms that are fun as hell and offer incredible fishing utility.

Hi I have inflatable outriggers but when assessing where to site these I can't help but hit the floats with my paddles, are these just for stationery fishing? I need for stability when kayaking on flat water as I have a moonster white water kayak so tips easy if I turn around etc.

I did run into issues using the same materials and colors in Florida at 90 + degrees, and after learning from my very expensive mistakes I can say this: Use as little brushable thinner as possible. The bubbles are solvent pops from trapped fumes trying to escape. Just like in the video, I tried with NO thinner at all (recommended in the can instructions) and had no bubbles or needed any tipping at all. Use only 220 between coats. I used 320 for the last coat thinking it would get even smoother (better is the enemy of good) and ended up with dry spots. Good luck.

at 3:04 and 4:10. you put the sharp end inside the fishes mouth from the inside, this is WRONG, WAKE UP, thanks, insert from outside the fish through the outer skin into mouth and out again, your way just lets the line rip up the fish's mouth on the way down especially right at the surface
