Absolute bollocks

Prop firms yes interesting topic, the new trend it would seem for folks that want to trade a large account with a small amount of capital e.g for $800 you could trade an account size of about $300 000. Keeping in mind it's not actually real money your only trading a demo account, so when a prop firm claims to be taking all the risk that is not true, as a demo account is phony money. The only risk they take is when you complete the challenge and start making money they are supposed to pay you. They design the trading challenge to ensure that 98 % of all traders will not pass. With daily drawdowns of only 4 % does not give you a lot wiggle room on a $5000 account. Which is why I'd choose to trade a much larger account size. Other things to look for when signing up what is their refund policy? if its nonexistent run that's a red flag they should also offer a 10 day cooling off period if their a decent company. How many out there do that? where are they located? note most with be located in a country where they are free from any legal consequences, how about a contact phone number any legit company would have a valid contact phone. A couple of final tips check out "trustpilot" but don't read the good reviews, check out the bad reports note what the comments are about, did they include the company refusing to pay? Do they claim to have been interviewed by a TV show or printed in a certain financial magazine check if that is true, are they registered in a Country with strict trading rules eg, Australia, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK, USA? Any decent company won't have an issue registering and setting up their business in one of these nations.

Yes swing trading is better, but i think its good for beginners to start scalping just to get enough reps of live price action. Im a swing trader but i really learned price movement because off scalping.

I've had runs go against me so many times, I sell the market turns around instantly. I buy the market turns instantly. When I'm in a winning position the price hangs in the air, I pull out of the position then price moves drastically. If the Market turns on me and I move my stop loss, the market seems to rally to my stop until I move it many many points above. Then market decided to move in my direction. Then come to my entry point and hangs always just hitting entry level but never going more than 1 or 2 points over never putting me in a profit even. I've seen the market come straight to my stop which is not even a regular place to put a stop loss. Hit it by 1 pip and reverse into the direction I felt price wanted to go in.

But it might also cross over and price pops up and comes back down again.
