Funny enough I have flown on BA on this exact route, 2 in fact and we have never had any issues with luggage being lost, a bit damaged but not lost, and we have ALWAYS had a boarding gate, never a bus gate! 😂

Did Glasgow to Reykjavik recently in saga and it was great even though it was a short journey. Being able to use the other more private lounge in Glasgow was brilliant.

Singapore Airlines has gone downhill since Covid. I flew business class with them last year and the food was awful, both from the London and Singapore.

Yeah i have A380 on 3 of my 4 flights, and on all 3 i snagged 71A with the extra legroom and access, did cost a bit extra as you say, but on 13hour then a full 24hour return (2 flights) it will definitely be worth it. Thanks for uploading 👍

I would never, EVER fly Economy on such a long flight if I could afford a Prem Economy or Biz Class seat - and certainly not with BA! I’m off on holiday to Japan in Nov and am flying there and back from LHR with Turkish Airlines who are way better and far cheaper.

I don't really understand the point of this lounge when for £4 you can get unlimited coffee at the Wetherspoons a minute walk away. Almost a tenth of the price with no queues, brightly lit with natural light by their massive windows with a far, far better runway view. Even if you get a meal there you're still paying half. I think Escape are taking the mickey a bit.

You say your food leaving the UK wasn’t good but was much better on the way back from Singapore, blaming the UK for that. But It’s Singapore airlines, theat supply everything, if they don’t have the infrastructure to fully resupply in the UK. That’s their fault. Or am I wrong? 😕

Looks like a very functional ferry but as you highlight it's a lifeline for smaller towns and villages in Greenland. I think I'd prefer the privacy of a cabin but it certainly comes at a price. The lounge and cafeteria remind me of CalMac ferries in Scotland.

On a Luxair flight to Frankfurt, I had the same seat, pretty noise cause the air was violently thrown against the fuselage by the propeller, but that wasn't the problem: I constantly asked myself what would happen if one of the propeller blades got lose and came my way !?😟

UIA, before the war, used to do in flight snacks / meals service at least on their KBP - HRK and KBP - ODS runs. The Vietnam Airways plane was at the STS aviation services depot there, so gettign somethign fixed or maybe a refurb.

The pilots did a great job getting you to Nuuk safely in those weather conditions. Shame about the low cloud as it would be a stunning flight on a clear day, but the views on take off and landing were impressive even on a grey evening. It's a little disappointing that there was no onboard service as the flight was long enough to perform a drinks service and it's a high fare (albeit it's in a unique environment) for essentially just a seat only product.
