This didn't save them. In 2008 their cell phone division was sold to Kyocera, due to heavy losses. In 2010 their semiconductor went to ONsemi and same year Panasonic would buy the remaining shares of Sanyo. In South east Asia, Sanyo would be acquired by now gigantic Chinese company Haier. This video was from a time when Japan really tried to fight back against the decline. The failure of this fight would lead to a general societal depression in Japan that persists to this day.

Это так же как если бы на кассетном магнитофоне при включении play - выключался усилитель мощности из-за нехватки напряжения на плате. Я привык к электронике 1990х made in Japan. Всё работает.

As I understand it, they were taken over by Panasonic in 2011 and dont exist as an electronics manufacturer anymore.

Just put in OEM glowplugs and check the relay if the car has more than 100k km on dash and original glowplugs. If no luck then check injectors, pressure regulator, rail pressure.

I’ve put in new original Renault glow plugs (the old ones still worked fine when tested, though). Since this rough idling only happens when cold starting and lasts for a minute, I left it as it is - extracting the injectors would have been too much of a hassle. OBD reported normal rail pressure. I tend to think it’s a “feature”, not a bug

Hi Sir, I also own a megane 4. My vehicle has 103,000 km. When it is cold in the morning, my vehicle starts in the same way, with the needle shaking for 1 minute. Does your problem still persist? Did you solve the problem? It does this when the air temperature drops below +15 °C.

Watching this doc in 2022......it is really interesting to know that in 2003 how Japanese underestimated the productivity power of labor in china......Chinese can work as slavey that Japanese cannot copy.

Feel sad for the folks here. They could've been working on interesting products, instead of whatever nonsense this is. Ultimately Chinese with their low standards of living and low livings costs, beat out these folks.

Renault dealership said it is normal, as long as it goes away after a minute. I changed the glow plugs and has no difference.
