So this cycle has like zero torque, correct? Very cool looking, and great place to showcase it!
@chesepuf18 сағат бұрын
It can go a little above small wheel speeds on normal flat terrain, so it's not very viable. But yeah it looks awesome!

Was this footage from out of bounds under the depths. Looks like it could be that frictionless plane that acts gloomy.

Exactly! I used a rocket to reach star fragment speeds and then coasted on the frictionless plane

Looks super sweet. I assume the motors are being pressed through the big wheels or something like that? Recently, I have been interested in electric vehicles and also tried some of King X's glitchless builds; however, sooner or later I have to try advanced stuff.
@chesepufКүн бұрын
Yep that's right, this is about the maximum they can be pressed before the big wheel axle gets weird.

Could you use this same setup with a beam emitter with any accuracy? I want to pulse lasers and this constructed method seems extremely simple compared to your video on them.

Can we have a tutorial for this beast next, please?
@chesepuf3 күн бұрын
First, I'd check out the building guide in the video description for the previous model. It will require q- linking various parts of the axles and chassis. Build guides take a while to make, so it may take me a while to release an updated one for this. I'll try to make the new guide compatible with patch 1.2.1.

Looks like a very well-rounded boosted BWV. Does it do anything that Hank doesn't?
@chesepuf3 күн бұрын
Absolutely! Linkoln climbs so much better than Hank. Hank can barely make it up those steep slopes and has to snake up hills while Linkoln can attack them head-on. Linkoln also has the same top speed on neutral ground as Hank, and an even higher speed on downhill slopes due to the weight. In addition, the gloomdredger chassis keeps link completely safe from land mines. In general, I'd actually say Linkoln is the superior vehicle. Hank's main edge is having similar performance with less parts, allowing more customization and weapons.
@GradyKallenbach3 күн бұрын
The climbing superiority vs Hank is due to having 2 backwards big wheels, correct?
@808zhu3 күн бұрын
@@chesepuf Awesome. That's a big jump in performance then. Add it to your golden list. I watched the video on HE earlier reading the captions. Which part was replaced for increased durability? I saw lots of stress testing and only one wheel came off through all of it. What's the special magic that gives electric motors the ability to hill climb anyways? By the way, I had always wondered why you guys (the elite engineers) would disappear for a spell and then pop up with something great - it takes a lot of time to build something worthwhile.
@chesepuf3 күн бұрын
Yeah having one friction wheel for each axle seems to help. BlazeAlchemist991 made a vehicle like Hank but with 2 friction wheels, yet it didn't climb as well as Linkoln. Perhaps it's due to better pressing of the friction wheels, or perhaps the heavy chassis actually aids in better grip on the hills. To be honest, it was surprising that it climbs so dang well
@chesepuf3 күн бұрын
Yeah this one should be golden for sure! The u- block was the attachment point of the rear axle in the previous design, but the u block only weighs 2 or 300. I replaced it with the metal turakamik pole which weighs 750. This way it can conduct electricity and has better attachment strength. And yeah, I often go quiet for a while because it takes a long time to fine tune some of the features, record awesome footage, and edit it.

Please explain the skipped scene at 15:20. How do I "turn both heads around" without detaching them from each other?
@chesepuf3 күн бұрын
Ah, turn them around with ultrahand. I skipped a minute or so of me putting the other parts to the side, you can move around at that point and turn them freely. Once you proceed, stop moving, grab the aiming head (lower to the ground), let go, press ZL, and take out the beam emitter like in the video

Ah maybe that was misleading, you cannot reattach a part with recall. At that moment, I was about to pop the wheel off so I recalled to save it

My middle wheel doesn't want to stay pressed down, even if I pressed it down the right times. How do I correct this so that the middle wheel stays completely pressed down even in Autobuild? Also, how many times do I need to press the middle wheel down and do I need to press it down once I put the first set of motor wheels? And how do I put a foward slant on the steering stick so that I can climb better?
@chesepuf14 күн бұрын
Hmm, once you press the middle wheel into the goron plate, you need to pull the tire so that the axle is near the edge of the tire. I used a stabilizer and stake to pull it down. Then you add the axles to the goron plate while the middle wheel is pulled. This way the middle wheel wants to push against the motors when all stakes are removed. The steering stick is slanted forward with stake nudging. Both of these processes are shown in the water temple in the video

@chesepufАй бұрын
If a whole rocket is used, it will overshoot, so it is mostly consumed to boost only the the first checkpoint. After that, the speed is due to the fan blowing on the seesaw, like a railjet
@abhijithravikumar5300Ай бұрын
Nice! How does the infinite rocket work?
@chesepufАй бұрын
The rocket is partly consumed at the beginning to provide a short boost to the first checkpoint. If a whole rocket is used, it will overshoot. The speed otherwise is entirely due to the fan blowing on the seesaw, like railjet tech

left the community, and game about four-five months ago. I was in my opinion a pretty good engineer. I knew all the tricks and glitches for building. I was building every efficient vehicles. Once I made this really cool combat aircraft. It was powered by lasers, you could hover, go every fast, and do pretty much anything. But, I got bored. There was nothing new for me to do on my version of the game, and I got burned out. So, I left. I wish I never did, maybe here soon I'll come back. (After two mouths of catching up. Lol)
