I got spooked pretty bad in this section, too. I played the dlc with my brother on the multiplayer mod, and during this section, he left me in this room after screaming, "THERES TWO OF THEM?" As he ran down the stairs to the elvator. I never saw two follow him, so after waiting about 2 minutes and only one came out of the elevator room, I called him crazy and went down, turning my light out just in case. When I got down, I could see nothing as I called the elevator and waited, then as it reached the top, that dim light the elevators have barely illuminated one of the owls silently staring straight at me from the corner of that tiny frickin room like 2 feet away from me. Then I ran screaming into the elevator and listened to my brother laughing histarically at me as I recounted the situation he put me in.

For extra context at the point he realized there were two, i already knew there were at least 2 and was confident that the extra I knew existed hadn't followed him

That garbled noise sting that repeatedly played throughout the clip is a sound cue that plays anytime one of the strangers is JUST about close enough to charge you. That’s how I knew that the first guy was right behind you the entire time even though you never fully looked.

omg same thing happened to me! my follower wanted to mate with a SPY so i did but the follower was OLD and so they mated but right after the follower died! and then i turned the spy into a demon to help me on my crusade, and i turned them into the weird heart guy and on the crusade the guy with the hearts was like THATS MY HEART so i gave it to him and so now their child is an orphan 😢😢

I just finished the dlc today and this video literally confirms my biggest fear in this stealth section. The dlc is fun but so glad I never have to relive this horror again

Death after birth. I had a wole love story that ended like this. A follower asked to save his sister. Brought her into cult. Than another follower said that he's in love with her and asked for flowers. I've planned to "wed" them them during ritual of Lust. But before that I've made a ritual when a follower receive sin from others making her the recipient. She's gone mad. Saved her. Again she was gone because of sin, drank too much wine in a bar. 😂 Saved her for the third time. Next day after I've brought her home boom! She's old granny! Sent her to mating tent and after making an egg she died.
