hey do they speak english in Tunis? I may come from the United States. And is there a black population? Im black. And hows the food?

Don’t know if my answer is still of any use to you, but the youngsters are learning english more and more. You will find a lot of younger people that are able to speak english. The percentage of people speaking english in medina’s like this video are higher though, due to the tunisians anticipating on the tourists visiting. Elder people are most likely to only speak arabic and french. There is a black population, but not so much. Most are mid-African students. If you want to find black tunisians, you have to go all the way south (and even those people arent reaalllyy black, just very tanned). You may experience some people treating you a bit different than the rest, or looking at you strange. I hate that that’s the way it is. The food is good, you’ll like it. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay

Black or white we all human just enjoy ur holiday am sure everyone is welcome specially in Arab countries.. the first man that called the prayers in islam is bilal he was jet black so really anyone that says anything to u remind them of bilal who was a black man our prophet Mohamed peace be upon him asked bilal to call the first prayers in Islam..
