The world needs more landscapers than it does bad guitar repairs. Lol

What exactly is the process for putting paint splatter on a gloss finish? Do you have to sand down the body first or just apply some clear coat after?
@Bluerockerguitarz77Ай бұрын
If the body is in good condition no dents or heavy marks I sand the body with 800 wet. Then I used a medium size brush 1.5 in across for the Red cuz I wanted more Red color on It. use a flicking motion Then for the White i used a small paint stick and pull back and flick this way you get less paint and that is what I was going for.. I suggest doing a few practice sample's first.. to get a feel for it.. Then you add 3 coats of medium wet coats of clear.. then let dry 24hr sand with 1000 wet then add 3 more coats let dry 24hr then sand flat.. then add 3 more coats let dry 24hr then sand up to 3000 and buff.. let set for 3 days to cure out.. before assembly..

Impressive video, Blue Rocker Guitarz. Looking forward to your next upload. I tapped the thumbs up icon on your post. Keep up the fantastic work. Your insights on the curing process for custom paint jobs are invaluable! How do you think the choice of hardware can further influence the tonal qualities of a guitar with an aluminum neck?
@Bluerockerguitarz77Ай бұрын
Well Im not sure about tonal qualities with a aluminum neck cuz I have never put one together or played one before This client wanted to try something different so a first for both of us.. Putting it together today.. video soon..

I dig the Kracken Bass ! 🤘🏻🤯🤘🏻and I also already love Kracken Rum as well. ( who doesn’t? 😄my brother in law was in the Canadian 🇨🇦 Navy for about 15 years and he said they all drink a ton of it! It’s definitely his rum of choice if he’s buying ) 👍🏻 cheers brother it Looks really cool and is definitely unique 🥃 the lil rum bottle mount with backlight is a nice touch 😊 certainly never seen one like that yet! 🎸🤘🏻

Sweet Guitar 🎸 I’ve only ever played one Gibson SG ( late 70’s model I think 🤔 all I really know is that it was fairly old.) and I really liked it but I’ve never owned one. Is there videos of it all painted up and finished? Your Subs are now at 190 +1 ( me 😄)

The paint is coming up soon I still have to fix the little issues before paint.. so next week should be going into paint.

@@Bluerockerguitarz77 Cool 🤘🏻😎 👍🏻 Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing it when it’s done or even just in progress is also fun to watch as well. Also watched the Kracken Bass video was really awesome I thought! 👍🏻 I’ve always wanted to refinish and paint at least one of my guitars… But I have never done by it yet. I had considered doing my Dean V up like Buckethead’s Jackson V 🤣 ( even though it’s not a Jackson or a baritone guitar) just because I love his insane guitar playing his slower stuff is equally as incredible in a different way.

Countersinking just the octopus head into the guitar to make it seem like the tentacles were coming from the main body of the octopus and moving all through the guitar body and coming out everywhere. This whole build is so damned cool. My only wish is that you could show more of the actual work. But I am loving it either way. You are hella creative dude.

Glad that my other business is busy cuz you got to take it when it comes.. Trying to get my weekends back so I can complete this guitar.. and I have another one I started about the same time..
