Thanks 🙏 Dianne for posting this, I know this was posted 7yrs ago but none the less i thank you 🙏 I was born & raised in a beautiful small town called St.Marys,Ontario, Canada which is in between London,Ontario & Stratford,Ontario. I was fortunate to have seen The Hip twice, once at the “DTE Music Theatre” outside of Detroit which is basically the same venue as the “Molson Canadian Amphitheatre” in Toronto which is half in doors & outdoors + i seen them in Stratford,Ontario for a beautiful 3 day festival & it was so surreal seeing one of my favourite Canadian bands only 15-20mins from my hometown of St.Marys,Ontario. I’m a HUGE “Hip” & “54•40” fan 🎶

The staff at the LCBO bought me tickets for this concert for my retirement, great time, but little did I know it would be his last time on stage.

I am seeing this for the first time tonight...feeling so homesick for Canada...She really does produce some outstanding talent!! Many years ago I saw Blue Rodeo in a tiny place in Guelph...I can't remember the name... but the night is with me 4ever...Fast forward...back in Guelph for a visit...and on the car radio...Gord Downie has passed...I cried like a baby...just like I am now...
