You don't need to change the key mate. I used gorila gel glue and no problem anymore. At the end of the black key there isn't too much pressure so it will be ok just glue it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have an owned-since-new, but now very old Canon Pixma MP960 multifunction scanner/printer (purchased in late 2006). These days, I only really use the scanner function, and it's worked well. I powered it down a few days ago, and when I attempted to power it up and scan some documents today (26 February 2022), I was repeatedly getting 5100 and 5c00 error codes that were preventing the scanner from even beginning its own cycle. I followed the steps to ensure that there were no obstructions in the paper path, dusted the carriage rail, print strip, etc - all steps advised on other troubleshooting sites where the same codes were mentioned. I finally got the print carriage to position itself to unload/reload the cartridges, and reseat the print head. even after I did all that, I still got the same error messages when I attempted to initiate a scan, even though i didn't immediately see any error messages when the print carriage returned to its home position. I finally did a search here on KZbin, hoping there may be someone who could set me right with an actual video. Even though yours is a completely different model of printer, I found a similar white-colored component to the far right hand side of the carriage rail, and gently moved it. Once I closed up everything, I noticed that I didn't have the odd "scrunch" sound that had suddenly developed when I first powered up the printer/scanner today, as the carriage moved about at startup. I can report that I was just able to initiate two successful scans via the Canon MP Navigator app installed on my laptop, with no errors! You've just save me from a great deal of grief and stress, as I can't really handle the added expense of replacing my scanner right now, and the repair costs to take it in would likely be more than it's worth at this point. I'll definitely keep this in mind if the issues reappear at some point - but I hope they don't! :-)

hola como estas? tengo un problema en el audio de mi korg x50 se quedo sin audio de la nada y opte por cambiar el potenciometro de volumen por uno nuevo pensando que eso podria llegar a ser el problema pero sigue igual sin funcionar. sabes cual puede ser la falla aparte del potenciometro? espero tu respuesta, la necesito. muchas gracias!

Thanks for sharing, I broke my lower 1st Bb key in a fit of rage (unrelated to playing) I threw a small object at the floor, it bounced, hit my keyboard and snapped the key at the joint like in this video. I dont know if I can get a replacement set so I will attempt to glue it back in place.
