Hi, Thank you for the amazing video! Really insightful! I was wondering about one thing you mentioned in OLTP section about data being inconsistent. Aren't ACID properties used for that purpose so that data is always consistent in OLTP? Let me know what do you think.

Hi Snir, thank you for the in depth video about slowly changing dimensions. I have a question, could auditing tables in operational/transactional databases be similar to type 2 SCD since they track modify date and modify by data for security purposes?

We had a course on DW last semester (in BGU) , I'm preparing for a Data Engeneering interview and I think I've learned more from this video than I did during the whole semester.

@tofful4 жыл бұрын
How to use multiple layouts? let's say I don't want to use that ".navbar" in all of my routes, and also any page could have a different layout, not necessarily nested in a specific "path" Let's say, one Layout prints Header and the Footer, another Layout prints a 2 Columns Layout without Header and Footer. ? For instance: /signin --> Layout2Columns /signup --> Layout2Columns / --> LayoutDefult (with header and footer) /dashboard --> LayoutDefult (with header and footer) /profile --> LayoutDefult (with header and footer) as you can see they are not nested, also if I am navigating through the home, /dashboard and /profile the Header and Footer should not re-render

Shouldn't the Blog navlink stay active when you navigate to /authors or /:postid?
@snirdavid-dev89824 жыл бұрын
In this naive implementation we compare the paths exactly. It might be a good idea to fix this issue for example by splitting with `/` and comparing just the first part of the path, if you know your menu is just for first level routes (:
