Hello, internet. I've followed this tutorial twice as a beginner who started about two months ago and I can honestly say it's one of the best. The end product is so so cute and the instructions and pace of the video are easy to follow. Obviously the end size will vary by device/intended use for the sleeve, but even though I was creating it for a different kindle model, I still had no issues at all. Many thanks to the creator for putting this out there, 5 MILLION stars.

I am also a complete beginner. How do I pick the right size yarn? I searched for 4 ply as said in the video but suggested crochet hook is always smaller than the one in the video. Does it matter much??

I also have this question! 4 ply yarn when googling is fingering yarn but it looks to me like the tutorial is using #4 worsted yarn which is the standard size yarn. Which one did you use??

@loveetosing13 Hello :) I used DK acrylic yarn and a 4mm hook for this but you can also use a 3mm, it just means you'll have tighter stitches I think

Really glad i checked the comments that this doesnt fit normal paperwhite when i was confused as to why it didnt fit - please edit the description to say what kindle size it fits to save others from the same mistake 😂

I had such a fun time making this crochet Kindle sleeve! This tutorial was just what I was looking for! BTW I love your accent! I made my case for a Kindle paper white 2024 In brown and white! Because the paper is a little bit bigger, I did six squares wide, and 18 squares for the length! I also did a two single crochet border and to join the sides of I used slip stitches
