Good to be able to hear Dave Hill on You tube. Like the picture too. Is it the Royal Canal?

I love this tune and what a gorgeous interpretation, the fluidity and subtle rhythm flexing throughout is a delight. Thanks to the Great Carolan & Dave Hill’s playing for bringing it so vibrantly to life. One love.

Did this Dave Hill record other pieces? I see the cover of a cassette with a harp and his name at the beginning of this video? Could you share more from him?
@lindamon8 Жыл бұрын
I'm not aware of any other recordings by Dave, other than what's on this (and another) cassette. I saw him play at Beverley Folk Club a couple of times. I went to his house where he kindly gave me a copy of another cassette he did on the life and music of Turlough O'Carolan. I'll see if I can find it.

@@lindamon8His playing sounds amazing! Do you know of any way to get in touch with him? I’d love to purchase a copy of his cassettes. If not, would you mind uploading what you have to KZbin? This is some of the best harp music I’ve heard

Dave is a very talented man, but I've completely lost touch. If I find him, I'll let you know. I'll upload the full cassette when I find time. Thanks so much for your comments.@@eileenaroon4293
