@ranger_lm I've read otherwise...they're practically the same just different calibers and effective range. M110 is a successor of the MK12 so in this game the M110 is the MK12 not the M16. The main difference between an Mk12 and an M110 is the caliber they fire: an Mk12 is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (typically used with the Mk 262 cartridge), while an M110 fires a larger 7.62x51mm NATO round, making the M110 better suited for longer-range engagements and the Mk12 more focused on close to medium range accuracy with faster follow-up shots. Key points about the difference: Caliber: Mk12 uses 5.56mm, M110 uses 7.62mm. Purpose: Mk12 is often considered a "Special Purpose Rifle" designed for close to medium range engagements with high accuracy, while the M110 is a designated marksman rifle for longer-range shots.
