They do a lot of charge and impact damage. So basically the more you charge into enemy units, the better. Because of their bigger unit size and because of how slowly they turn it’s usually better to run through units instead of pulling back. Sadly this requires a lot of micro management

Skullcrackers have some efficiency as a chariot but only when its ability is activated and despite having huge brutal melee weapons they are weak in melee. You cant keep charging them without its ability, its too slow and get easily stuck.

​@@andre_clearsky Well that sucks. It should swing it's two massive dual pickaxes more often when in melee or when just going through the enemy for more damage.

материнский корабль, убер юнит у скринов, доступен при производстве технологического узла связи. Выстрел ее пушки поражает постройки и техники и имеется некий вирусный эффект, когда соседние здания также попадают под влияние выстрела и дальше распространяют заражение. Его минусы, он очень дорог, около 5к и очень медленный, хотя и обладает хорошей броней. Но все же, его использование требует подавления пво и к нему можно подготовиться так как он долго летит

If your able to build the signal transmitter close enough you can just have your mothership target it and chain reaction to the enemy base. Might wanna sell the rest of your own outpost before it fires though.

@@mwperk02 You can also capture the enemy signal transmitter (assuming it is playing scrin) and summon in to his base (easier with scrins commando)

Its not because the Tiberium in the buildings because units can also cause chain reactions.

@@Hirmikss Frankly, given how overpowered the thing is, I'd say it's only fair to make it a challenge to get it towards its target. And it's not even that hard, even. Bait the enemy with your own army (like a bunch of Devastators and Carriers), then while the enemy is busy sending units and building defenses on one end, sneak the Mothership around and attack their Refineries or Power Plants. Not to mention the many big brain strategies some people in this comment section were mentioning, holy cow! (capture enemy Construction Site --> build a Signal Transmiter immediately --> spawn the Mothership immediately --> GG the entire enemy base) 🤯

@@MrDibara make seekers make congaline catch furthest out seeker in the blast send them in through the weak deffenses furthest out seekers will die slowly and chain another if one goes through enemy is fucked blob of buzzers or/and seekers at the front is good too. Make lots of infantry order mother ship to attack ground near infantry they get chained, create wormhole inside enemy base - profit.

@Joël yea thats true, but then again lets be honest, its a cost of 3000 for the building (lets say u sell it then its like 2000, I don't remember the sell refound) and then 5000 for mothership, not mentioning the whole setup, you could just get like 4 triploids and essentially be in a better spot,

@Joël yea, but that being said its an amazing comeback tool, won a game few times like this, I remmember that once I did a unit chain (nuked my own army) and then his army got infected, died and infected severall buildings, and then I yonked remaning units with my cultist :) overall unit chains negate the larger weekness of the mothership but they are cluncy, expensive and hard to use (I use desintegrators for the chain), I remmember there used to be a thing where if u tp the unit it still had the infection, once I used wh to tp my desintegrators to the middle of the oponents base, that was tiberium wars version so the strong one. I made it kinda work severall times overall but it mostly was with the unit chains

If the buildings are too close to each other, it causes a chain reaction. The original range of the Mothership is that blast.

There's a tactic that traveler - 59 does that lets them spawn it right inside someones base using the 2 way portal and a lightning spike

@@thirstyserpent1079 Or the tactic to Use the Prodigy to capture an enemy Tech building and in it's build radius deploy your Signal transmitter and spawn the Mothership in the middle of their base.

force attack your own building then make a line to the enemy base

I've actually seen it been used quite recently in multiplayer. Check out Sybert's cast of a 2 v 2 v 2 match with some of the top players. It's not the only one, it's just the most recent.

@@McCool117 Yeah the scrin player has a massive fleet of planetary destroyers then he chains a mothership around the crater in the center of the map killing like 100 buildings.

But some hardcore players do that and its amazing. They combine it with the Mastermind Capturing an enemy building , than build the signal transmitter inside the enemy base and call the Mothership right away.

@@andre_clearsky yeah! I've seen that too, that's 5000+3000 tiberium spent within seconds. One must have such reserves to pull that off. But it's cheaper than those planetary assault carriers though.

That's why this is only used with traveler 59 because they can capture buildings. You usually capture an enemy building and place the tier 4 tech building next to it and summon the mothership. Target your own tier 4 tech and its done. If you are good at the game you can go double mcv and just build towards your enemy with your tier 2 tech, this is done in ffa.
