I am not happy with my Tweeinot. I’ve had it 1 year to the date. It quit working 33 days after I got it. TSC would not take it back, so I called Grand Teton and they shipped out the parts, but the mother board was 4weeks out. Anyways, I can never use mine on Eco1. It will never restart. Last night it would not maintain the house temp. It never ramped up the pellet flow to bring the temp up. So, I’ll be shopping for a Harman after Christmas. Sorry, I’m no help, but it looks like an issue.

I clean me entire burn chamber, pot, under pot, glass, either side of pot every day, behind the panels once a week. But your missing the ash tray and taking the sides of the entire system off and vacuuming out around the blowers and motors. Alot is pellet dust gets inside, best to clean that out. Pellet dust will when collect on the circuit board. Just a FYI

Mine is new and I find it wasn't burning the pellets all the way and I was getting a build up. What do u do to prevent this and get it to burn hotter
@diaryofageek
@diaryofageek Ай бұрын
In my testing your Exhaust temp should be in the 275-425 degree point. 275 being P4 and a low flame. anything higher than 425 or so is kind of wasting heat out the exhaust, and even around the 275 point is almost too low. Mine runs on ECO2 P3 24-7 it will run on P3 until room temp is made then goes down to P4 automatically to "hold" the temp. and mine has the white ash on the back panels. The buildup is hard to prevent, it also depends on pellets. I vac my burn pot out about once a week (every weekend) i think i have stuff dialed in and have decent pellets. I think this is about as good as we can get with this type of stove.

I want to say thank you for making this video before I ask my question. I just bought this stove and it has 167hrs runtime on it. I've already gone through 10 bags of pellets and the ash pan is always full with thick ash. I don't have a fan/ blower on it to stir the ashtray or the air coming in from the outside into the stove because my husband didn't want to put a hole through the wall of our garage. Do you know a way to fix these two issues?
@diaryofageek
@diaryofageek Ай бұрын
if it's this stove the "exhaust fan" is what kicks into high gear every once in a while and "stirs" the pot. Where do you see the thick ash? in the two side bins around the burn pot or in the bottom of the burn pot? Its pretty normal for these to build up brick like ash in the burn pot.. as long as you don't let it go so long that the burning pellets start to cover up the top line of holes in the back of the burn pot. This hard ash also can get better or worse depending on the pellets you use. I don't really have good advice, I have gotten lucky with the pellets I get from my local tractor supply (every tractor supply often supplies local aka different pellets). I would suggest just getting a few bags of different kinds and clean after each, see which is best. Sorry i know thats not super helpful... :-)

You say about all the complaints and issues that people are having on tractor supplies website you say that it's linked towards not knowing how to use the equipment or is this thing trash
@diaryofageek
@diaryofageek 20 күн бұрын
@@TCRTechLife it’s not trash. But it’s not a tank either. These are middle of the road stoves. But the touchscreen and all of the setting options we have on these makes it super easy to accidentally make them run like crap. You would think with the smart controller that you would have to know less about the stove to run it, but I found it’s quite opposite. Some of the dumber stoves out there just have a knob and you set how much heat you want it to output….. that’s it. On these smart stoves, to get the heat output correct the way you want, you have to adjust airflow, feed rates, etc. and things like outside temperatures or pellet quality or how dirty the stove is changes those settings constantly. Versus just turning a knob a little bit to correct it.

I already dug into the firmware on this device. They went one step further than installing a device manager. They used a custom partition table. If I could figure out what the table layout is I could load vanilla Android to remove the DMA they installed. Their software is pretty sloppy too from what I saw after gaining root. Bottom line. This company is kinda trash just because they sell you hardware that they remote manage. I'm not an employee. I don't need hardware I own to be remote managed.
