ngl that grill stone looks like crap. only cleans the very top of the grates. highly recommend the bbq daddy for that instead.

I’ll give ya that, something different about brisket on a stick burner. Love jumping on one when I can, but with four kids and a pool don’t have the luxury of time these days ☺️ I appreciate the watch and comment!!!

Thanks for the video!! Great info !! I used to follow 3-2-1 Method religiously, bit now Im more closer to your 2-2-1 method. I go by the meat temp, cook to 165, then wrap until 200, sauce and 30 to 45 mins to glaze. Thanks!

Fried rice on a bbq? What in the wholemeal, gluten-free, spelt grain bread American nonsense is this? You can really tell when someone doesn't live within wok-yeet distance of any Asian country. Uncle Roger would like to have words.

After you wrap it is it not a good idea to just use the oven the rest of the way???? Consistent heat and you don't have to use up your pellets???

Just wondering it's how I do my ribs and they come out great. I have a cheap smoker and has big temperature swings.
@smokedq
@smokedq 2 ай бұрын
I could see that as an option. Once wrapped you’re just cooking with heat, so wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t work.

How do you like your Traeger thinking of picking up this model.
@smokedq
@smokedq 2 ай бұрын
I love it! I’ve used Traegers for years after having kids and moving away from my stick burner out of necessity. The temp control responsiveness as well as the app helps me so much with my busy family life. But the induction top is maybe my favorite feature as it allows me to make an entire meal in the same place. It is a high price point, but I’d highly recommend!

Can you honestly taste the difference between your favorite bourbon vs something cheap? When you use wine in cooking you don't use expensive wine because it'll taste the same as using the cheap wine instead but without the waste
@skywarrior00
@skywarrior00 4 ай бұрын
I get that but you do at least want to use something drinkable, whether it's wine or bourbon.
@smokedq
@smokedq 4 ай бұрын
Yeah I usually grab for cheaper, but too it is what I have on hand or maybe even drinking while making a dish. The bourbon in this recipe is from my buddy Chris Lytle and I’ll say it did the trick.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but that sure looks like a Coca-Cola bottle in the video not a Dr Pepper bottle??? The red instead of maroon label caught my eye first then took s closer look....
@smokedq
@smokedq 4 ай бұрын
Ha... fair question, but nope it is Dr Pepper. Different bottle shape gives it away, but never did turn that label. That said, Coke would work very similarly. Any dark cola really...
