I was 17 in 1977 I thought the 70’s would go on forever. Little did I know in 2 years it was over for me.

Had an 8 track player tied to bycicle with this on high. Good times. 76 I think just after I got out of navy . Was in lake Wales with old friend Lane Holmes. Our girlfriends work at ABC liquor in winter haven . Both girls had sports cars. We would race around all those lakes. Good times where their wasn't a cop behind every tree . ❤

There is a version of this song I cannot find. Frampton is a younger and he performs it in front of an indoor audience - its one of those TV shows which has guests, and it is about 16minutes or so (going off memory). It is really fantastic and much better "quality". My recollection is it is just him and his guitar, if there is a backing band I don't recall seeing them. But the video is a masterpiece and the rendition masterful.

FWIW, this song is not his best performance of it. When I saw him live, he was on fire playing this song! JMO. It almost matched the record version which came in a two album set. You all know it, "Frampton Comes Alive", and he did. I listened to this album set so many times I would be scared to even guess the amount of times I listened to it! I still have the Album, and it's on my wall proudly displayed!

I wish I was alive during this musical era, I am 41, and it's by far my favorite. I even named my oldest son after one of The Beatles' songs. ❤

Apparently at all these concerts some chick was on someone's shoulders and the person behind couldn't see. "Ahh, don't worry about me because I came here to see the back of you instead of the band).🙄😜
