Go in mid JULY - August 25 and see how beautiful it really is! My father was born in the mountains of Nafpaktos Chomori! I go every summer for 2 months! Best place on earth for me and my family !

Τα παιδιά ήταν χαρά να τα βλέπεις να χαίρονται με την παρέλασή τους! Αφού χανόμαστε που χανόμαστε, ας χανόμαστε τουλάχιστον λίγο πιο χαρούμενοι .. όσοι μπορούμε βρίσκουμε λίγη χαρά στα μικρά πράγματα

Μην παραδίνεσαι απαίδευτα στα δρώμενα της κοινωνίας γλυκιά μου και πόσο μάλλον τα μικρά παιδιά που κατευθύνονται, όχι στις πατροπαράδοτες παραδόσεις μας, αλλά σε μορφώματα παγανιστικά και ειδωλολατρικά! Είμαστε Ορθόδοξοι Χριστιανοί και ως σκεπτόμενοι πρέπει να αναρωτηθούμε: Τι είναι το καρναβάλι και ποια η ιστορία του; Σίγουρα δεν είναι γιορτή "χαράς" και "διασκέδασης" όπου επικρατεί ένα χαοτικό κλίμα, η τρέλα αντικαθιστά τη σοβαρότητα, η αταξία την τάξη! Η μεταμφίεση φένεται αθώα αλλά όλα ξεκινούν αθώα... καθώς κάτω από τη μάσκα οι άνθρωποι αφήνουν τα καταπιεσμένα ένστικτα αχαλίνωτα και ελεύθερα να πράξουν σύμφωνα με τις επιταγές τους... Σου προτείνω, με αγάπη, να ψάξεις να βρεις την ιστορία του καρναβαλιού!! Και μην επιτρέπουμε άλλο την αλλοτρίωση των ηθικών αξιών και θεσμών μας!!!

All of them dont know each other of course and if someone's passing by accidently pushing lighlty someone else cause its crowded you could get attacked verbally and in some cases psysically. Im Greek and i have the worst experiences i could out of what they in other words call greek filoxenia... Ive been to London Brussels Budapest Vienna Paris multiple times for this reason... I have friends from all these places which i met them in occasions like this one here... But they were also willing to get to know other people...we drank we eat street food we had rides by cars we eat at restaurants we laughed we clicked we visited monuments... Greeks are not at all like this.

It seems I live in another country and not Greece Never in my life I've experienced something like this, especially when mood is festive The only time a Greek is not polite is only when the other person is rude and unmannered.

Σιγά το φαγητό που μας έδειξε στο τέλος εκτός από τα χόρτα τα άλλα ήτανε φουλ στη χοληστερίνη ποιός τρώει κοκορέτσι και χοιρινά τέτοια πράγματα και πας για έμφραγμα κατευθείαν

You don't have to try to use a broom to do this kind of floor scrubbing, though. You don't even have to do it on your hands and knees. Get an inexpensive deck brush or some other kind of scrub brush with a long handle like a mop has. It will make life a LOT easier, it's easy enough to store, and if you take care it, it will last for several seasons. I wondered about the drainage on your balcony, though. Where does all the soap and water go?
