Thank you so so much. I’ve been doing the same acid test and it is hard to see the results on the dark stone. Now I’m gonna go test all the stuff that tested negative. Thanks again.

Thats awesome but the acid I got sent is already a red color and it says it will be variations of red if it's real silver. It is so hard to see for me. :(
@TheFinderGuyАй бұрын
It should work, if it’s not silver, the acid will still evaporate off the paper towel
@tikki3509Ай бұрын
Using the red silver acid is the best way. The 18k gold test often gives a false positive on certain metals which look like silver but are not.

My silver tester must be fake 😂
@TheFinderGuy2 ай бұрын
Why do you say that?
@rokinrandy2 ай бұрын
@@TheFinderGuy just kiddin. Because I didn’t know how to use it. Turns out my temu silver came out blue on a men’s bracelet and 3 rings. All listed and marked as s925. Thing is the bracelet was like $3.00. The melt value of the weight would be around $15.00. Lol. Killer deal. None of it I would say is really a rip off. It’s priced low enough. But why Mis lead ? Ya know? Ofcourse my Buffalo round that I tested. Came out red. All thanks to your video here. I am able to properly test it all out. And verify that my tester is infact 100% authentic 😂
@TheFinderGuy2 ай бұрын
@rokinrandy yea, lol definitely would have expected that from a website like that. And I agree, why bother faking it if you’re gonna price it that cheap anyway 😆. Glad I was able to help!

Many people use the 18k but for accurate results and to know the purity of silver you are checking ,the silver solution is best but it can be complicated to understand, which makes sense why people use the 18 k.

Thanks for explaining it a bit further. I was having a real hard time looking at the stone & acid bead itself. All I could see was a black blob. Looking at your drops, they look as black as mine! I've watched people testing and they seemed to just look and know. I was sure my acid was bad. But now I'll try again and see if I can make it work. When they say it might show as creamy white, how will you see that? Now, if I can just get used to my Kee gold tester, I'll be in business!
@TheFinderGuy7 ай бұрын
No problem! I’m not sure about the creamy white, I haven’t heard that. Gold can definitely be tricky, especially with heavily plated items
