Wah hey there just stumbled upon your video which made me really curious. I'm from Belgium, I speak both French and English perfeclty as well as some Dutch and some Spanish... I have native English level but of course I'm not born in the US/UK/... so I can't say I'm native :(. Obviously you aren't yourself so how did you lend that job ?? Did they sponsor your visa ? Thank you for your insights, and I will be looking at your other videos now :D.
@DannyJapanny2 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for your comment!!! And support 😉. I remember when looking for a job here, most companies say that you need to be native. However this is not really the case. Native level is enough for most companies. I applied to a ton of dispatch companies in Japan 🗾. After a few weeks one of them responded and I got a job with AtoZ this is a company which only operates in Nagano prefecture. They are big on diversity, so maybe it's a good idea 💡 to try there as my experience with them has been very positive. If you want to know more, let me know! And good luck with applying. Just do it as there are opportunities enough. I recommend gaijinpot or jobsinjapan to look for a job. Also JacktoJapan has some good videos about the different dispatch companies. Hope it helips

Is there still a misconception that it’s a fairytale land? I feel like most people know the work culture is sh*t
@DannyJapanny2 ай бұрын
Mmm 🤔 I think it's a bit double. From what I can tell on social media is that people are still very blind to that side of Japan. Of course there are people who know about the working culture. But even if you don't know about the working culture Japan has various issues that people don't know about. Thanks for the comment ☺️. And hope my answer cleared things up a little!

@ Appreciate the response. I’m frustrated atm trying to plan a vacation early next year. The first overwhelming concept conveyed is that of hostage justice; holding non citizens for 23 days without cause. Next, 100 bloggers going on about how terrible, rules based, unfriendly place it is. How to piss off a local is most prevalent. Im not naive, regularly internationally for decades; just a bit skittish now.

It's awesome you want to come here for your holidays I think Japan is the best of not one of the best places to go for holidays, as you will probably not experience any problems people are polite and especially in the countryside very friendly. I think people who do video or blogging tend to base their content on controversial stuff cause it performs best. Hey Thomas thanks for this awesome comment I appreciate it! I think from all the people I miss Randy the least 😱😉. No no that's not true. But I wouldn't say that I miss someone in particular. I think it's mostly friends and family that I do miss. But it's kind of crazy that I now have to make a choice cause I know that I'll also miss it here a lot if I were to leave. Luckily I'll meet up with my parents this week in Bali so that will be nice. Haven't seen Randy in two years. So it's been long overdue, but I hope I can make it this summer. Again thanks for the comment and I hope all is well with you and your family. Greetings from Japan. Bedankt voor je berichtje. Leuk dat je kijkt. Ah this takes me back to a trip I made to Tokyo a few years ago! Yoyogi park is super cool, as is the Tokyo tower! You can see it for free, but paying to go inside for the view is certainly worth it! I remember going to that temple in Yoyogi park, but I had no idea about the history, or how busy it actually is. I never made it to Shibuya, but I want to see it one day. is Enoshima Island suitable to visit during the winter (Dec 2024)?
@DannyJapanny5 ай бұрын
I persona think it’s a great time to visit and this is mainly because of the fact that your chance to see Mount Fuji will increase a lot! In winter Fuji tends to be more visible than any other season. It’s also a lot less busy, so you have more personal time to enjoy the surroundings. Now it will be a lot colder of course, but it rarely snows in this part of Japan. Hope it helps!
