Ugh! I really with they sang all the incantations in the show! That's the whole thing "I have magic hair that glows when i sing"! It's not the same when she just says it instead of sings it.

Something I just realized: when she does the hurt incantation, her eyes turn black. When she does the sun incantation, her eyes turn gold. Is it possible that the healing incantation makes her eyes change color, too, and Gothel taught her to keep her eyes closed when she sings it?

Am I the only one who sees Princess Celestia and Luna Princess in Raps and Cass? Think about it -One represents the sun, the other the moon -Rapunzel is the more beloved of the two sisters, just like Celestia. This causes Cass to feel unappreciated and unloved. -Eventually, Cass’ jealousy consumes her, and she undergoes a dark transformation. Moonstone Cassandra is basically a human Nightmare Moon. And like Luna in the IDW comics, she too was manipulated by a demonic higher power, who was simply using her for its own goal (The Nightmare Forces and Zhan Tiri respectively). -Finally having realized how Cassandra felt, Rapunzel tries to reason with her.…but failed, reluctantly using her power to fight the one she held dear. For Celestia, it was the Elements of Harmony. For Raps, it was the Sun Incantation. -Defeat only made their sister more bitter. Both Nightmare Moon and Cassandra felt justified in their hatred because of it. Blinded by anger, neither realized how much they were loved. Nor the regret in their so called “enemy” was felt. -In the end, the darkness is banished, and the sisters reconcile.

Mandy Moore is definitely singing different in the show from the movie.

This is such a weird show. It's fails in so much plot structure but excels in the Broadway moments and that alone arguably saves the show.
